Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez looks like she’s running for President in 2028.

The big question then is what are her chances of victory.

And Tucker Carlson warns that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will become President if one thing changes.

California Governor Gavin Newsom is the media favorite for 2028.

Newsom governs the country’s largest state, and with his gelled hair and made-for-tv grin, he looks like a President right out of central casting.

But Tucker Carlson told Megyn Kelly there is no chance Democrats nominate Newsom.

“So you don’t see him [Newsom] as the Dems’ great white hope from California for 2028?” Kelly wondered.

Carlson explained it wasn’t the obvious reason of Newsom’s failed record that he would fall short.

California lost Congressional seats for the first time ever in the 2020 census because Newsom’s addiction to high taxes and the Green New Deal rendered California unaffordable to live in.

Instead, Carlson said Democrats would reject Newsom because he’s white.

“He’s pretty White. I mean, it’s the anti-White party, like they hate White people, they’ve been systematically disenfranchising White people from the country they were born in. They say it out loud, that’s what diversity is, it’s everybody but White men, so  I’m not whining about it, I’m just noticing that — much more comprehensive than Jim Crow ever was,” Carlson stated.

Democrats reluctantly went along with Joe Biden as the nominee in 2020 because Biden pledged to pick a black woman as his running mate.

That ended up in the disastrous selection of Kamala Harris.

Democrats don’t want to repeat that mistake again, which is why Carlson predicted the party would look more towards a candidate like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as their next standard-bearer.

“And so for the party that did that, that set up this, this Jim Crow system, anti-White system, to nominate another White guy, I mean maybe! But I think they’d be much happier with AOC,” Carlson continued.

Carlson praised Ocasio-Cortez, telling Kelly that “she’s got a ton of talent.”

But Carlson wondered if Ocasio-Cortez has the “enormous self-discipline to get through a presidential campaign.”

And the major hurdle for Ocasio-Cortez, according to Carlson, is Israel.

Ocasio-Cortez is in sync with the pro-Hamas base of the Democrat Party.

Democrat Party donors, however, are more supportive of Israel, and Carlson believes the big money on the left will band together to take down Ocasio-Cortez in the 2028 primary unless the party heals its schism on Israel.

“I also think the Israel thing is tough, is tough for anybody running in that party,” Carlson concluded.

“A lot of rank-and file-Democrats are genuinely mad about the Gaza thing. Donors obviously are on a different page. So it’s a fundamental split in that party. I’m not exactly sure how that’s resolved, and I’m not sure that she can walk that line.”
