Donald Trump believes he was elected to solve other problems that past Presidents failed to address.
One of those issues in foreign affairs is Iran.
And Donald Trump put Iran on notice with this terrifying promise.
As American Patriot Daily reports:
President Trump wants to be known as the peace President.
Trump lived up to that label in his first term by becoming the first President in 40 years not to lead America into any new wars.
Some supporters, like Tucker Carlson and Charlie Kirk, were worried America would get sucked into a regime change war in Iran when President Trump considered bombing Iran’s nuclear facilities in June.
But Trump resisted the pressure from warmongers like Ted Cruz and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to launch an Iraq-style operation and instead limited America’s involvement in Israel’s war against Iran to a single bombing run.
Netanyahu and the warmongers like Cruz and RINO Senator Lindsey Graham have spent decades itching for a regime change war in Iran.
And they haven’t given up.
Netanyahu returned to Mar-a-Lago eager to make his case to lure America into another endless Middle East war.
This time, Netanyahu claimed Iran was rebuilding its nuclear weapons program and was developing ballistic missiles.
President Trump announced in June that “Operation: Midnight Hammer” completely obliterated Iran’s nuclear program.
Netanyahu is trying to convince Trump that he was wrong and that the operation failed to achieve its objective.
President Trump likes to keep his options open and avoid wars, which is why he warned Iran they would pay a steep price if what Netanyahu said was true.
“And we worked together, and we were extremely victorious, to put it mildly. Now I hear that Iran is trying to build up again, and if they are, we’re going to have to knock them down. We’ll knock them down. We’ll knock the hell out of them,” Trump stated.
Trump said his preference, and that of the Iranian government, was to make a deal.
“But hopefully that’s not happening. I heard Iran wants to make a deal. If they want to make a deal, that’s much smarter. You know, they could have made a deal the last time before we went through a big attack on them, and they decided not to make the deal. They wish they made that deal. So I think, again, they should make a deal. They want to make a deal, but sometimes that doesn’t happen. Yeah, please,” Trump added.
But Trump shot down Netanyahu’s request for America to fight a regime change war in Iran on Israel’s behalf.
“I’m not going to talk about the overthrow of a regime. They’ve got a lot of problems. They’re in—they have tremendous inflation. Their economy is busted. The economy is no good,” Trump continued.
Many regime change advocates view the current protests in Iran as the prime moment for America to swoop in with an invasion to effect regime change.
President Trump threw cold water on that idea, saying he’s seen similar uprisings in the past and they never amount to anything.
“And I know that people aren’t so happy. But don’t forget, every time they have a riot or somebody forms a group, little or big, they start shooting people. You know, they kill people, and the people tend to—I’ve watched this for years. There’s tremendous discontent. They form 100,000 to 200,000 people. All of a sudden, people start getting shot, and that group disbands pretty quickly. So I’ve watched it for years. They’re vicious, vicious people,” Trump concluded.
The American people first elected Donald Trump President in 2016 as a backlash to 15 years of endless Middle East wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.
President Trump understands this, which is why he continually rejects Netanyahu’s attempts to drag America into a regime change war in Iran.
