The bogus Somali childcare scam may be the worst fraud scandal in American history.
Somalis looted taxpayers to the tune of $9 billion.
And it’s about to get worse because Kristi Noem brought the thunder, and now Somali fraudsters have this scary problem.

Minnesota was already the subject of a federal probe after Somalis looted $9 billion in taxpayer money from a federal meals program.
That probe resulted in more than 80 indictments and nearly 60 convictions.
But Shirley’s video confirmed every American’s worst fears about the amount of fraud in the federal budget.
Elon Musk wrote in response to Shirley’s video that he estimated as much as 20 percent of the federal budget went towards fraudulent payments.
“My lower bound guess for how much fraud there is nationally is ~20% of the Federal budget, which would mean $1.5 trillion per year. Probably much higher,” Musk wrote on X.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem wanted to reassure Americans that her department was on top of investigating scammers stealing from the taxpayers.
Noem posted a video on X of ICE agents going door to door at Somali daycare centers and questioning operators about their legitimacy.
“Homeland Security Investigations @ICEGov are on the ground in Minneapolis right now conducting a massive investigation on childcare and other rampant fraud,” Noem wrote on X.

CBS News reported the extent of the resources that Homeland Security surged into this investigation.
“Two DHS officials told CBS News that agents from U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement’s Homeland Security Investigations branch are expected to inspect over 30 sites in the city on Monday alone.
Noem and DHS posted videos of HSI agents inspecting several sites, including one that appears to be a smoke shop,” CBS News reported.
The Somali fraud scandal also exposed the big lie that the establishment constantly feeds the American people.
And that is the idea that it’s only illegal immigration that harms Americans and that the nation needs to open its borders to influxes of legal immigrants.
Like Ilhan Omar, the Somali scammers came to America legally.
And critics contend that, like Ilhan Omar, they despise America and want to soak the country dry.
This episode exposed Americans to the reality that sealing the southern border to cut off illegal immigration isn’t enough to preserve American culture and values.
The federal government also needs to restrict legal immigration.
