Donald Trump was looking for an answer.

Trump finally found what he was looking for.

And JD Vance stepped up and left Donald Trump jumping for joy by saying one word.

As Liberal Hack Watch reports:

Everyone Was Waiting to Hear What J.D. Vance Was Going to Say

Republicans have been trying to distance themselves from Donald Trump for many years now, thinking that they can position themselves better politically if they’re not tied to him.

That’s why they tried so hard to stop him from being the nominee in 2016, and then worked against him in many cases even after he took over the White House.

No one quite knew how J.D. Vance would respond after he was offered the vice-presidential nomination for the Republican Party by Donald Trump.

After all, he had only been a senator for a year and a half, with no elected experience before that.

His track record is limited and there’s a lot we don’t know about him.

But one thing is clear now: he is not afraid or ashamed to be associated with Donald Trump.

He made that explicit in his statement after accepting the nomination for vice president, and he sent a signal to the whole world that he isn’t afraid to fight.

Vance Accepts the Nomination and Vows to Fight for Victory

Here is what Vance said on Twitter: “Just overwhelmed with gratitude. What an honor it is to run alongside President Donald J. Trump. He delivered peace and prosperity once, and with your help, he’ll do it again. Onward to victory!”

Vance made it very obvious that he was proud to have been nominated and that he isn’t going to run away from the man who afforded him this opportunity.

That must have been an important factor in Trump identifying him as the right man for the job as he was vetting the candidates.

According to Axios, “Trump had told friends for several days that it was Vance, and people very close to Trump have been telling us for weeks that every sign pointed to Vance. But Trump is Trump, so no one wanted to go out on a limb and guarantee Vance was the pick.

“With the race’s new dynamics after Saturday’s assassination attempt, a secret lobbying campaign continued into yesterday morning, with Elon Musk, Tucker Carlson and tech investor David Sacks all calling Trump to try to lock in Vance.”

Here’s what Tucker Carlson said about the pick: “He doesn’t secretly hate Trump, as all the rest of them do. He fundamentally agrees with Trump. That’s precisely why neocon donors fear him.”

While there will almost certainly be more reporting that emerges in the coming days about why Trump chose Vance, it’s clear that he is happy to be on the ticket.

He doesn’t seem ashamed of Trump or eager to distance himself from him, as some politicians like Paul Ryan have been in the past.

Instead, he apparently wants to work with Trump to take back the White House.

That is something that Republicans across America are going to be very happy to hear from the new nominee for vice president from their party.
