The media engaged in North Korean level propaganda to support her campaign.
But Kamala Harris felt sick after seeing these ugly poll numbers.
When Harris entered the race, the media decided the narrative was that Harris created a surge of polling momentum against Donald Trump.
Journalists reverted to their default position of being the communication operation for the Democrat Party and orchestrated a rollout for Harris that looked like it was scripted out of a Hollywood movie.
The first set of polls showed Harris trailing Donald Trump by less points than Joe Biden when he dropped out of the race.
Those results allowed Harris’s fan club in the media to claim that Harris entering the race resulted in her poll numbers shooting up like a rocket ship.
But did the data actually tell that story?
CNN’s polling analyst Harry Enten crunched the numbers and found the idea of a Harris surge in the polls was a mirage.
“I think the idea of Harris-momentum is a BIT overstated. Yes, Harris is doing SIGNIFICANTLY better against Trump than Biden was…” Enten posted on X.
Enten pointed out that while Harris was doing better than Biden, her numbers against Trump since becoming a candidate weren’t materially different than when polls tested her in a hypothetical matchup with Trump.
“But Harris is actually not doing all that much better than she was herself against Trump previously (when she was a hypothetical candidate),” Enten added.

The elections analysis and tracking site Decision Desk provided a visual chart of polls both nationally and from the battlegrounds showing the numbers before Harris entered the race and after.
And they confirmed Enten’s conclusion that there was no bump for Harris after entering the race.

This is Kamala Harris’ honeymoon phase.
Harris couldn’t have planned introducing herself to the country in a more positive fashion than how the media bankrolled tens of millions of dollars’ worth of free advertising.
Outlets even deleted or doctored articles containing negative information about Harris.
And yet – even with all the free state media assistance – Harris’ poll numbers never budged and she’s still trailing Donald Trump.
