The liberal media’s been out to get Donald Trump for eight years.
But Trump’s fought back every step of the way.
And the New York Times was forced to admit this truth about Donald Trump.
As Conservative Reboot reports:
New York Times Forced to Admit That Trump is Winning
The New York Times has become perhaps the most ideologically committed major newspaper in America, choosing to pump up left-wing causes instead of neutrally report the news.
As such, they have been big promoters of Kamala Harris and her campaign and consistent detractors of Donald Trump and his allies in the Republican Party.
Their readership has become staunchly progressive, and the newspaper knows that they have to give their customers what they want.
However, there are some truths that become so blindingly obvious that even a biased organization like The New York Times can’t help but admit what’s really going on.
It’s clear that there is a real chance that Donald Trump is going to win the election, and an article by David Brooks in The New York Times grudgingly admitted that.
The paper almost certainly was not thrilled about publishing this article, but they apparently felt that had no choice but to tell the truth.
David Brooks Lays Out Nightmare Scenario for Democrats
Here is part of what the article said: “It’s Nov. 6, 2024, the morning after Election Day.”
“The people in the Trump campaign should be counting their lucky stars for Donald Trump’s close victory, given the political incompetence they showed in July and August.”
“This mistake could have been fatal for the Republicans, because Trump is the 46 percent man. That’s roughly the share of the popular vote he won in 2016 and 2020.”
“And yet this is the pattern with Trump. He seems to do everything possible to sabotage his own campaigns, but still does surprisingly well in elections. Even with the fantastic weeks she had coming into Labor Day, Harris was not in as good a shape as Hillary Clinton was in 2016 or Biden was in 2020.”
It’s clear that Brooks is dripping with disdain for Trump, and yet he sees the polls and he knows Harris is lagging behind Clinton and Biden – one of whom Trump beat, and one of whom Trump almost beat.
The article continues, “In 2016, Clinton led in Pennsylvania at summer’s end by about six points, while in 2020 Biden led by between roughly three and four points, but Trump still beat Clinton there and came within a point of beating Biden.
“Most of the election models had the 2024 campaign right on Labor Day: It was basically a tied race, even if Democratic exuberance gave the impression that Harris had some ineffable momentum.”
This has to be horrifying for liberal New York Times readers.
They have been spoon-fed wrong information about how Harris is a slam dunk to win the election.
But Brooks is forcing them to confront the reality that the polls are actually not looking good for her at all.
And as hostile as The New York Times is to Trump, they apparently have no choice but to admit that he’s winning.
