Mass deportations was Donald Trump’s number one campaign promise.
Trump pledged that his administration would carry out the largest deportation effort ever in American history.
But three weeks into his Presidency and Donald Trump is unhappy more illegal aliens aren’t getting deported.
“It’s driving him nuts they’re not deporting more people,” NBC News reported a source close to Trump saying.
Border crossings are down 95 percent thanks to President Trump’s executive orders of sealing the border.
And the administration rightly took credit for that historic achievement.
“After four years of the Biden administration’s outright incompetence and negligence, the Trump administration has re-established a no-nonsense enforcement of and respect for the immigration laws of the United States,” a statement to NBC from White House spokesman Kush Desai read.
“Hundreds of violent, predatory, and gang-affiliated criminal illegal aliens have already been rounded up and deported by ICE since President Trump took office — and the Trump administration is aligned on securing our borders and ensuring that mass deportations are conducted quickly and effectively to put Americans and America First,” Desai added.
But Border Czar Tom Homan shared President Trump’s frustration on the pace of the deportations.
NBC reported that a second source relayed that Homan is “unhappy” and “made his unhappiness known” about the deportation levels in the first weeks of the second Trump administration.
But the slow pace of deportations wasn’t the administration’s fault.
A raid in Denver that was supposed to see ICE take 100 criminal aliens into custody ended with just one arrest.
Homan blamed it on operation security failures.
And the sabotage was coming from a familiar source.
Deep state agents within the FBI were leaking the time and location of ICE raids to the media.
Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem called out the FBI as corrupt for leaking a planned ICE raid in Los Angeles.
“The FBI is so corrupt. We will work with any and every agency to stop leaks and prosecute these crooked deep state agents to the fullest extent of the law,” Noem wrote on social media.

But unlike eight years ago, the leakers won’t go unpunished.
Homan told Sean Hannity that the leak from Colorado was under FBI investigation and that he believed criminal charges would be forthcoming.
“We think it’s coming from inside. And we know the first leak in Aurora is under current investigation. We think we’ve identified that person,” Homan stated.
