Democrats had to take their medicine following the November election.
But the Democrat Party had no idea how bad it really was.
And Kellyanne Conway destroyed Democrats for making this wrong choice in 2024.
Kellyanne Conway appeared on the New York Times Dealbook panel discussion about the 2024 election.
Conway lit into Democrats for getting in bed with the Never-Trumpers and buying into the delusion that because everyone inside the beltway bought into the January 6 hoax that all of America would go along with the lie that Trump being a threat to democracy was the biggest issue in the election.
“The fact is this instead of a year ago, I’ll say it again because it was just raised the Democratic Party right now. Every day they wake up, it’s still January 6th, 2021 in the calendar. They get an electric vehicle. They get an abortion. You’re out of touch with the public. This election was a rejection of wokeness and people. Every state went more red except Nebraska and Washington state. That is a sweep. That is a mandate,” Conway declared.
Democrats and the media spent the final week of the campaign claiming a comedian’s joke or Donald Trump’s point that Liz Cheney never fights in any of the wars she supports would swing the election.
Donald Trump stayed focused on the issues actual voters in the swing states cared about.
Throughout the campaign, Trump stayed laser focused on securing the border, getting inflation under control and ending Joe Biden’s failed forever war in Ukraine.
Americans rewarded Trump with a landslide win.
Conway made sure to hammer that point home to her fellow panelists.
“That is President Trump coming into office and the American people saying, please make my life safer, more secure, more affordable. Please get us out of these foreign engagements. And I think the always wrong ‘Never Trumpers’ who had unlimited money, cost the party, cost the Democratic Party, which they say they’re not even a member. Another presidential election,” Conway continued.
Sarah Longwell was an obscure GOP strategist who became famous by being one of the original Never-Trumpers.
Longwell helped found the Never-Trump website, The Bulwark.
And Longwell’s attitude towards Conway and other Trump supporters helps explain why Democrats keep losing to Trump.
Hillary Clinton smeared Trump supporters as deplorables.
Joe Biden attacked Trump voters as garbage.
Longwell told Conway that she and other Trump supporters were bad people.

Democrats keep losing to Donald Trump because they let their hatred of Trump consume them to the point where they ignore the issues voters actually care about.
Voters saw that Trump delivered cheaper grocery prices in his first term.
Voters saw that Democrats and Never-Trumpers ignored the suffering from inflation and open borders to instead go all-in on the lie that Donald Trump incited an insurrection on January 6.
And voters could also see that Democrats and Never-Trumpers just plain don’t like them.
