Democrats initially resisted the urge to blame Kamala Harris for the election loss.
That all changed in an instant.
And John Fetterman threw Kamala Harris under the bus with one damning admission.

One of the key arguments that Democrats made in the closing stretch of the campaign is that Donald Trump is a legitimate fascist who wants to end elections and start a dictatorship.
They claimed that he sees Hitler as a role model and wants to start a similar type of regime in the U.S.
This was nonsense, of course, but what is stunning is how few Democrats were willing to say anything about it.
Now, John Fetterman, the senator from Pennsylvania, is coming out and saying that their argument was ridiculous.
But during the election, he didn’t say anything to defend Trump from the accusations that were being made against him.
Perhaps he did this out of a misguided sense of party loyalty, but it is not a good look for him.
And it is certainly not a good look for Kamala Harris, who could have told her campaign staff to lay off the “fascist” attacks but chose not to.
According to Axios, “Sen. John Fetterman (D-Pa.) criticized the assertion that President-elect Trump is a ‘fascist’ on Sunday and said the ‘freakout’ over the incoming administration is ‘not helpful.’”
Here’s part of what he said: “And also fascism, that’s not a word that regular people use. I think people are going to decide who is the candidate that’s going to protect and project, you know, my version of the American way of life, and that’s what happened.”
Fascism certainly is a word regular people use, if it fits. If a Hitler type of figure actually rose to power in the U.S., surely many “regular people” would be concerned about fascism.
Trump is not a Hitler figure, however, and so “regular people” are not concerned about fascism because he isn’t a fascist.
The article continues, “After Fetterman praised Trump for his ‘undeniable’ political talent and said he never believed that his platform was about fascism, ABC’s Jonathan Karl noted that Vice President Harris described her presidential rival as a fascist.”
“Fetterman told Karl he had been telling Trump critics to ‘chill out,’ adding: ‘He hasn’t even taken office yet.’”
Some Democrats are not going to chill out, as they drank the proverbial Kool-Aid and bought into everything that was being said about Trump leading up to the election.
However, other Democrats have proven by their actions that they never truly believed what was being said, as they are carrying on with business as usual.
Fetterman could have raised his voice during the campaign and urged Kamala Harris and her associates to stop calling Trump a fascist.
He never did that, however, and it is a little too convenient that he is coming out and saying these things now.
It does reveal a lot, however, about Kamala Harris and her decisions about attacking Trump before the election.
