The Democrat Party coalition is fracturing.

A circular firing squad formed in the wake of the 2024 election loss.

And one MSNBC host just turned on Nancy Pelosi for one unthinkable reason.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

Different Democrat Factions Are At Each Other’s Throats

After Donald Trump’s resounding presidential victory, Democrats are desperately trying to figure out what went wrong and how to fix it.

Many believe the party leadership has gotten too old and they need younger blood to refresh the party and lead it into the future.

But others feel younger party members like Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez are too extreme.

MSNBC host Chris Hayes, however, thinks Nancy Pelosi has worn out her welcome.

MSNBC Host Chris Hayes Rips Nancy Pelosi

According to the Daily Mail, “MSNBC host Chris Hayes ripped into former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for her role in helping tank 35-year-old Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez‘s leadership bid this week.”

“Behind-the-scenes, 84-year-old Pelosi was whipping votes for 74-year-old Rep. Gerry Connolly to become the next ranking member of the House Oversight Committee over rising progressive star AOC.”

People watching this play out can surmise that Pelosi didn’t want Ocasio-Cortez in that position because she’s an open socialist.

Pelosi herself has many extreme views, such as her pro-abortion stance or her stance on transgenderism, but she seems to be concerned about promoting someone who openly identifies as socialist.

“It feels like a moment of genuine madness,” said Hayes.

“I understand his colleagues who respect him. I understand the way seniority works in Congress, which has been there forever. But in light of everything that has happened over the past decade, it does feel like Democrats still have not learned a pretty important lesson.”

“And now Pelosi whipped votes to make sure that Connolly got the Oversight job over the young star in the party, even as the 84-year-old Pelosi is recovering from hip surgery after suffering a fall.”

Hayes seems to be on the side of wanting the party to run further to the left with the idea of turning out younger people to support an extreme and revolutionary Democrat Party.

Given the results of the election in November, that seems like a recipe for failure, but it aligns with the ideology.

Meanwhile, the Democrats continue to be at each other’s throats in the wake of the disaster of the November election.
