Charlie Kirk was the voice of a generation.
Kirk founded Turning Point USA in 2012 and grew the organization into a vehicle to flip young voters away from the Democrat Party.
Kirk traveled to college campuses, where he would sit at a table and engage in open debates with anyone.
In the 2024 election, President Trump won 49 percent of men aged 18-49 thanks to Kirk winning over Gen Z voters by evangelizing his faith in Christianity, the Constitution, and conservatism.
The left couldn’t beat Kirk in a debate.
So, an assassin silenced him with a bullet to the neck.
The point of political terrorism is to intimidate your opponents into backing down from their beliefs.
Fox News host Greg Gutfeld said if this assassin thought the movement Kirk built would cower in the wake of Kirk’s murder, they were sadly mistaken.
Gutfeld predicted a gunman killing Kirk in cold blood would only “radicalize” Republicans to take further action to demolish the political machine Democrats built after World War 2 that allowed the left to seize control of institutions and culture n America.
“I know that it’s somewhat an object of mockery to say thoughts and prayers, but thoughts and prayers for his family. They need it, from all of us, and Jesse’s right, if they can do this, they are capable of anything. I think that was the message. I believe that was the message. It’s really hard to radicalize Republicans. You know, it’s like we’re not the radical type, but if you thought that you were going to shut a movement down, you’re going to get a rude awakening. You woke us the f*** up,” Gutfeld declared.
President Trump spoke from the Oval Office hours after he broke the news that Kirk died from a gunshot wound.
Trump promised Americans that his FBI and Department of Justice would target the funders, organizations, judges, state and county district attorneys who created the toxic stew of leftwing hate and the permission structure that allowed left-wing domestic terrorists to operate on American soil freely.
“My administration will find each and every one of those who contributed to this atrocity and to other political violence, including the organizations that fund it and support it, as well as those who go after our judges, law enforcement officials, and everyone else who brings order to our country,” Trump stated.
Trump said Kirk’s assassination was the latest instance in a disturbing pattern of left-wing political violence that America can no longer tolerate.
“From the attack on my life in Butler, Pennsylvania, last year, which killed a husband and father, to the attacks on ICE agents, to the vicious murder of a healthcare executive in the streets of New York, to the shooting of House Majority Leader Steve Scalise and three others. Radical left political violence has hurt too many innocent people and taken too many lives,” Trump continued.
A recent Foundation for Individual Rights poll showed that 34 percent of students say violence is justified to stop speech they don’t like.
That number is up from 24 percent in 2021.
Left-wing domestic terrorism is the actual threat America faces.
President Trump pledged to the American people that his administration would deploy its full force and power to investigate, arrest, and prosecute the funders, organizers, and enablers of this scourge.
