Governor of New Jersey Backtracks That He’s Hiding an Illegal Immigrant in His Home

Democrat Party elites can’t get it through their heads that the country is with Donald Trump.

Many on the left still think it’s the summer of 2020.

And one top Democrat may end up in prison over this threat against Trump.

Donald Trump’s signature campaign promise was to enforce the largest mass deportation effort in American history.

Polls show a majority of Americans support deporting every single last illegal alien out of America.

And mass deportations are already underway.

The latest statistics show border crossings are down 90 percent since Donald Trump took office.

Democrats are struggling to find their footing.

New Jersey Democrat Governor Phil Murphy wants to run for President in 2028.

And Murphy figured the easiest way to raise name awareness and make himself a national figure would be by becoming the face of resistance to Donald Trump’s mass deportations efforts.

So Murphy made his play and declared that he and his wife, Tammy, were harboring an illegal alien in their home and that if Donald Trump wanted to deport this migrant, he’d have to go through the Murphys first.

“Tammy and I were talking about –- I don’t want to get into too much detail, but there is someone in our broader universe whose immigration status is not yet at the point that they are trying to get it to. And we said, you know what? Let’s have her live at our house above our garage,” Murphy stated.

“And good luck to the feds coming in to try to get her,” Murphy declared.

Murphy then implored Democrats to fight Trump on every front because letting their guard down is how the Germans allowed Hitler to rise to power.

“The Germans in the ’20s and ’30s got tired. They got sick of fighting, and look at the price we paid. We cannot roll over. We cannot stop fighting. We need intensity,” Murphy exclaimed.

This less-than-impressive display turned out to be a major mistake.

Border Czar Tom Homan vowed to prosecute Murphy if he interfered with federal immigration enforcement.

“Maybe he’s bluffing,” Homan told Sean Hannity. “If he’s not, we’ll deal with that.”

“I got a note of it. I won’t let it go. We’ll look into it,” Homan said of Murphy’s comments.

“If he’s knowingly harboring and concealing an illegal alien… we will seek prosecution.”

The law is on Homan’s side as Title 8 U.S. Code § 1324 “prohibits alien smuggling, domestic transportation of unauthorized aliens, concealing or harboring unauthorized aliens, encouraging or inducing unauthorized aliens to enter the United States, and engaging in a conspiracy or aiding and abetting any of the preceding acts.”

Murphy knew he stepped in it big time and couldn’t run fast enough to walk-back his comments.

“I didn’t suggest that, with all due respect,” Murphy told reporters, trying to deny that he ever claimed he was hiding an illegal alien in his house.

Murphy claimed he was merely speaking to the anxiety and dread illegal aliens supposedly feel now that their free run in America was coming to an end.

“People who have complete clean status, including American citizens, are wigged out right now, and that was — I probably could have said it better — but that’s the point that I’m making, That’s the bigger point,” Murphy explained.

But all this incident served to demonstrate was that the Democrats will keep having to learn the same lesson — that defending open borders and mass illegal immigration into America is a losing hand — over and over again.
