There is still a collection of establishment RINOs who refuse to accept the results of the election.

Swamp loyalists still think they can win back control of the Republican Party from Donald Trump and his supporters.

But now Fox News delivered a warning to Never-Trump traitors to not make this wrong move.

Donald Trump nominated Pete Hegseth, an Army infantry soldier and two-time Bronze star winner from his tours in Iraq and Afghanistan and who is also a co-host on Fox & Friends, to serve as his Secretary of Defense.

Trump nominated Hegseth because Hegseth is sympatico with Trump’s desire to purge woke ideology from the military.

In a podcast interview before the election with former Navy Seal Sean Ryan, Hegseth said any attempt to dismantle the woke bureaucracy within the Defense Department begins with firing pro-DEI Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Charles Q. Brown Jr.

“First of all, you’ve got to fire the chairman of the Joint Chiefs,” Hegseth said referring to Gen. Charles Q. Brown Jr.

“Any general that was involved – general, admiral, whatever – in any of the DEI woke [expletive] has got to go,” Hegseth declared.

The establishment immediately began to rally opposition to Hegseth, fearing a reformer taking over the Pentagon.

One swamp lobbyist said to POLITICO, “Who the f*** is this guy?” in response to being asked for a reaction to Hegseth’s nomination.

The lobbyist demanded Trump nominate a business-as-usual candidate in the form of “someone who actually has an extensive background in defense. That would be a good start.”

Laura Ingraham defended Hegseth on her nightly Fox News show, citing Hegseth’s long held critique of woke ideology in the military.

“He’s been on that issue on what woke-ifying our warrior class has done to military morale to recruitment,” Ingraham began.

“For the past three years – after President Barack Obama poured the social justice foundation – the Pentagon, across all branches, has embraced the social justice message of gender equality, racial diversity, climate stupidity, and the LGBTQA+ alphabet soup in their recruiting pushes,” Hegseth wrote in his best-selling book “The War on Warriors.”

Ingraham said Hegseth could help the military solve its recruiting shortfall by eliminating preferred pronoun use and gender identity ideology programs imposed by Joe Biden and Kamala Harris.

“He has been on the problems we’ve had on our deficit and recruitment like nobody’s business. And man, that’s gonna be a big, big task for him to undertake once he gets into the Pentagon, which, of course, he’ll get confirmed no problem, given his incredible background,” Ingraham added.

Fox News contributor and former Congressman Jason Chaffetz agreed.

“I think he’ll get easily confirmed,” Chaffetz stated.

Chaffetz also warned that any Republican Senator voting against Hegseth’s confirmation risked career suicide.

“I dare any Republican senator to vote against him. That is not in their best interest. And we need to get him in place as soon as possible. Relief is on the way. This is exactly what I think America was striving for. And I can’t believe how excited I am,” Chaffetz concluded.
