Donald Trump announced Kash Patel as his nominee to serve as FBI Director.
Trump recounted to Meet the Press host Kristen Welker how the FBI “invaded” his home during the classified document witch hunt.
Wray knew that on Day One Donald Trump would announce his firing by post on Truth Social.
And rather than meet that humiliating fate, Wray announced at a town hall meeting at FBI Headquarters in Washington, D.C. that he intended to resign once Joe Biden’s term ended.
“After weeks of careful thought, I’ve decided the right thing for the Bureau is for me to serve until the end of the current Administration in January and then step down. My goal is to keep the focus on our mission — the indispensable work you’re doing on behalf of the American people every day,” Wray stated.
Wray knew he created a mess of scandal at the FBI by politicizing the bureau.
“In my view, this is the best way to avoid dragging the Bureau deeper into the fray, while reinforcing the values and principles that are so important to how we do our work,” Wray added.
Critics contend that on Wray’s watch the FBI turned into a corrupt, partisan institution that enforced the Democrat Party’s will.
They tipped the 2020 election in Joe Biden’s favor by pressuring Big Tech to censor the New York Post’s story about the emails found on Hunter Biden’s laptop.
Wray directed the largest manhunt in history as Joe Biden rounded up every Trump supporter possible and threw the book at them for January 6 while – at the same time – Wray testified to Congress that Antifa was just an idea.
The FBI also targeted parents who protested mask mandates and critical race theory curriculum at school board meetings as domestic terrorists.
FBI agents also drew up plans to spy on Catholics who attended Latin masses, calling them domestic extremists.
Wray signed off on the raid of Mar-a-Lago where agents went so far as to rifle through Melania Trump’s underwear drawer.
And the FBI also carried out Joe Biden’s mass roundup of pro-life activists and jail them for years simply for praying outside abortion mills.
Donald Trump celebrated the news as step one in draining the swamp and restoring trust in the FBI.
“The resignation of Christopher Wray is a great day for America as it will end the Weaponization of what has become known as the United States Department of Injustice. I just don’t know what happened to him,” Trump wrote.
Trump pledged to get the FBI back to its mission of fighting crime instead of acting like Joe Biden’s private police force.
“We will now restore the Rule of Law for all Americans. Under the leadership of Christopher Wray, the FBI illegally raided my home, without cause, worked diligently on illegally impeaching and indicting me, and has done everything else to interfere with the success and future of America,” Trump added.
Trump admitted the victims of Wray’s abuses would never fully recover everything they lost, but Trump promised that under Kash Patel’s leadership the FBI would have an FBI they could be proud of.
“They have used their vast powers to threaten and destroy many innocent Americans, some of which will never be able to recover from what has been done to them. Kash Patel is the most qualified Nominee to lead the FBI in the Agency’s History, and is committed to helping ensure that Law, Order, and Justice will be brought back to our Country again, and soon,” Trump continued.
Trump informed the American people that rank-and-file FBI agents support these changes and that respect for the rule of law and equal justice would return to America as soon as he took the oath of office.
“As everyone knows, I have great respect for the rank-and-file of the FBI, and they have great respect for me. They want to see these changes every bit as much as I do but, more importantly, the American People are demanding a strong, but fair, System of Justice. We want our FBI back, and that will now happen. I look forward to Kash Patel’s confirmation, so that the process of Making the FBI Great Again can begin. Thank you!” Trump concluded.
