Following her husband’s murder, Erika Kirk is now in charge of Turning Point USA.
Erika just made it. Turning Point is still a big player in GOP politics.
And that’s because Erika Kirk made this massive 2028 endorsement announcement.

Erika Kirk delivered a powerful speech to kick off Turning Point USA’s AmFest conference.
This was the first AmFest since Kirk’s assassination, and the event took on special meaning.
Erika Kirk opened the conference by reassuring the crowd that she would continue Charlie’s work to maintain Turning Point USA as the number one conservative grassroots organization.
“What I’m inspired by is the fact that Charlie and I, again, will go wherever we need to go, but so will you. That’s why you guys are here,” Erika Kirk told the crowd gathered in Phoenix, Ariz. “All of you here are because you know you’re saying, ‘I want to do something.’”
Erika Kirk then announced she was endorsing Vice President J.D. Vance in 2028 and would deploy the organization’s muscle towards electing Vance as the 48th President of the United States.
“We are going to get my husband’s friend JD Vance elected for 48 in the most resounding way possible,” Erika Kirk declared.
Vance and Charlie Kirk were close friends.
Vance hosted one of the first episodes of Kirk’s show from the White House following Kirk’s assassination.
Kirk fought to convince President Trump to put Vance on the ticket because Kirk believed Vance best embodied the America First philosophy.
This endorsement has been in the works for a while, as Erika Krik admitted that electing Vance President was one of her life’s goals.
“That was the thing that my husband was very direct about, it was, interestingly enough, one of the last few conversations we had was how intentional he was about supporting JD for 28,” Kirk told Megyn Kelly.
Erika Krik wasn’t the only endorsement Vance recently collected.
Secretary of State Marco Rubio told Vanity Fair that if Vance runs for President in 2028, he will be the first one to endorse him.
“If JD Vance runs for president, he’s going to be our nominee, and I’ll be one of the first people to support him,” Rubio declared.
President Trump’s endorsement is king above all others.
And Trump hinted that his preferred ticket in 2028 is Vance as the nominee with Rubio as his running mate.
“There is clearly Vance, and Marco is also excellent. I don’t know who will run against them. If they form a team, they will be unstoppable,” Trump stated.

Charlie Kirk and Turning Point provided the grassroots muscle for President Trump’s 2024 campaign.
