Deep State Leakers Seek to Sabotage Investigation into Adam Schiff

Adam Schiff is under criminal investigation.

But something strange just happened.

And Donald Trump will be mad as hell over this leak about Adam Schiff.

As per Swamp Digest reports:

A grand jury in Maryland already handed down an indictment against New York Attorney General Letitia James for bank fraud and making false claims to a financial institution over claiming a property in Virginia was a second home when she allegedly used it as a rental property.

That same grand jury is considering criminal charges against Senator Adam Schiff (D-CA) on mortgage fraud charges for allegedly simultaneously claiming properties in Maryland and California were his primary residence to gain favorable loan terms.

One tactic the deep state uses to try to discredit criminal cases against Democrats brought by the Trump Justice Department is having so-called “career” prosecutors leak to the media that they don’t believe there is enough evidence to bring an indictment.

That way, the press can frame the case as a political retribution and poison the minds of potential jurors that the case is a sham.

MSNC’s Ken Dilanian and Carol Leonnig followed this template by reporting that the prosecutor in charge of the Schiff case didn’t think there was enough evidence to warrant criminal charges.

“The federal prosecutor in charge of investigating whether Sen. Adam Schiff should be charged with mortgage fraud recently told her bosses in Washington she did not think the case was strong enough to move forward, two sources familiar with the matter told MSNBC,” Dilanian posted on X.

“A third person familiar with the matter said the case is continuing to be investigated. Kelly Hayes, the U.S. Attorney in Maryland, met in recent days with Todd Blanche, the deputy Attorney General, to update him on the Schiff case, the three people said,” Dilanian added.

“Hayes, an experienced federal prosecutor, told Blanche she did not think the case against Schiff was strong, two people said. The two said Ed Martin, a controversial senior Justice Department official, is pressing to keep the case alive,” Dilanian continued.

Conservatives derided Dilanian as “Fusian Ken” for his willingness to report collusion falsehoods collected by Fusion GPS for the hoax Steele dossier as fact.

Critics once again believed Dilania was doing the deep state’s bidding.

Real Clear Politics’ Susan Crabtree responded to Dilanian’s post by reporting that the U.S. Attorney in charge of the Schiff investigation never said the case was weak and that probe was moving full steam ahead.

“Maryland U.S. Attorney Kelly Hayes did not say that she didn’t believe the mortgage fraud case against Adam Schiff was strong enough to pursue, a source familiar with the details tells @RCPolitics,” Crabtree wrote.

“The case against Schiff is moving forward. Kelly is the same US attorney to indict John Bolton and is not backing away from the Schiff case, according to the source,” Crabtree concluded.
