Donald Trump takes the oath of office in less than a week.
But a trusted ally had some bad news.
And Dan Bongino delivered one warning that saved Donald Trump’s life.
Donald Trump survived two assassination attempts.
On July 13th in Butler, Pennsylvania, an assassin shot Donald Trump in the head.
Trump only survived because he fortuitously managed to turn his head at the last possible moment to point at a chart showing how the border was more secure during his time in office than Joe Biden’s.
Two months later, Trump survived a second attempt on his life when a gunman set up a sniper’s nest at one of Trump’s Florida golf courses before the Secret Service spotted the would-be killer.
Iran also reportedly trained kill teams to target Trump.
And federal authorities thwarted a murder-for-hire plot where the Iranian Revolutionary Guard contracted with Farhad Shakeri to kill Trump.
Most Americans figured that since Trump won the election and is now President-elect, the danger had passed.
But Dan Bongino – a former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent who worked on Barack Obama’s detail – warned that the danger was actually at its peak.
Appearing in Partrick Bet-David’s podcast, Bongino sounded the alarm that he believed the Secret Service and FBI were misleading Trump’s team about the threat level.
“I feel an obligation to put it out there — I think the Secret Service, along with The FBI are lying to this transition team. This transition team knows it. And unfortunately there’s nothing they can do until they formally take power in two weeks,” Bongino stated.
Bongino stated his belief that Trump will never be in more danger than during his inauguration.
“Donald Trump is gonna be sitting there exposed at the inauguration,” Bongino added.
Bet-David couldn’t believe what he was hearing.
“So here’s not just anybody. Dan Bonino was a police officer, New York City police officer. And then after that he went and served as a US Secret Service agent from 1999 to 2011. So think about,” Bet-David replied.
Bongino doubled down on pressing the panic button, saying that until Trump officially becomes President, Bongino believes Trump isn’t safe.
“I don’t think the Secret Service is prepared for Trump’s inauguration. I think the Service and FBI are lying to Trump’s team, and they know it. There’s nothing they can do until they take power. He’s gonna be sitting there exposed,” Bongino added.
The July assassination attempt saw the Secret Service completely fail to protect Trump.
Agents didn’t secure a rooftop with a direct line of sight to the podium where Trump would be speaking from.
The Secret Service allowed Trump to take the stage knowing there was a suspicious person report.
Civilians spotted the gunman on the roof and aiming his weapon minutes before he fired at Trump – and yet the Secret Service did nothing.
In the second assassination attempt, a sniper set up camp for 12 hours before getting noticed.
Dan Bongino’s expert and professional opinion is that nothing has changed – and until there is new leadership in place appointed by Trump – Bongino doesn’t trust the FBI nor the Secret Service.
