A Lifelong Liberal Told JD Vance Something Democrats Never Wanted Him to Say

A liberal comedian just switched sides.

The Democrat Party’s hard left turn cost them one of their own.

Bill Maher looked JD Vance in the eye and admitted something stunning.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

The Islamic and communist New York City Mayor stamped his arrival as the King of the Democrat Party when the three socialists he endorsed in Congressional primaries, Claire Valdez, Brad Lander, and Darializa Avila Chevalier, all won convincingly.

Mamdani’s candidates’ routing of the Democratic Party establishment’s picks solidified it as the party of Third World Islamic Marxism.

This development worried lifelong Democrats like Bill Maher.

Maher interviewed Vice President JD Vance on his HBO Real Time show, where he expressed concern that the candidates Mamdami endorsed were communists who called for defunding the police and ending all deportations of illegal aliens.

“Like, if this is where the Democratic Party is going, where this Democratic socialist, this obsession with Israel, with the Jew hating, they don’t believe in capitalism, no prisons…” Maher stated.

That windup led Maher to make an admission no one who’s watched him over the years ever thought they would hear: he’s open to voting for a Republican in 2028.

“If this is where they’re going, my vote is in play,” Maher added.

Vance was clearly pleased at that revelation.

“Okay, I like to hear that,” Vance replied.

Maher then claimed he always voted for the person over the party, and in past years, Maher believed Democrats presented a choice more to his liking.

“It actually always has been. Every year, I don’t make my decision by who has an R or a D; I actually always came to the conclusion that the Democrat was probably better and voted for them,” Maher stated.

But beginning in 2020, Maher began to break with the Democrat Party over COVID lockdowns, transgender insanity, open borders, and lies about police officers targeting black men,

The breaking point for Maher to go public with his willingness to actually vote for a Republican in 2028 is the Democratic Party swinging so far left that communism is now the platform for candidates.

Maher joked that Trump’s not being on the ballot helped his decision.

“And Trump can’t run again, and he’d be a little too exciting for me anyway,” Maher continued before laying out who his choices were.

“So it’s either going to be you or Rubio,” Maher concluded.
