And J.D. Vance dropped the hammer on Zohran Mamdani with this brutal smackdown.

In the wake of the 9/11 terror attacks, no one could imagine that 24 years later the city would elect a Muslim communist who hung out with an unindicted co-conspirator in the 1993 World Trade Center bombing as its Mayor.
But Zohran Mamdani turned political assumptions upside down.
And now Mamdani is actually playing out the joke from the late, great comedian Norm Macdonald.
MacDonald once mocked woke liberals by sarcastically lamenting that his great fear about ISIS detonating a nuclear device in America would be the backlash against the “peaceful Muslims.”
The closing message of Mamdani’s Mayoral campaign was whining that his Muslim aunt, and not the 3,000 murdered Americans, was the real victim of the 9/11 terror attacks because someone looked at her funny on the subway when she wore her hijab.
“In an era of ever-diminishing bipartisanship, it seems that Islamophobia has emerged as one of the few areas of agreement,” Mamdani began.
“I want to speak to the memory of my aunt, who stopped taking the subway after September 11th because she did not feel safe in her hijab,” Mamdani added.
Mamdani whined that he was the victim of “Islamophobia” because his opponents questioned if electing someone who declared support for “globalizing the intifada” was a wise choice for the city.
“Over these last few days, these lessons have become the closing messages of Andrew Cuomo and Curtis Sliwa and Eric Adams. Yesterday, Andrew Cuomo laughed and agreed when a radio host said that I would cheer another 9/11,” Mamdani seethed.
Vice President J.D. Vance learned from President Trump that ridicule is the most effective weapon in a politician’s arsenal.
And Vance mocked Mamdani elevating his Muslim aunt to sit as the true injured party on 9/11.

Polls show Mamdani is the most unpopular Democrat in America.
The left-wing elections analysis blog split ticket polled a series of Democrat leaders – Mandani, Gavin Newsom, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Chuck Schumer and Kamala Harris.
Split ticket found Mamdani was the most unpopular of the bunch with just 21 percent holding a favorable opinion.
Even Mamdani’s fellow Democrats hold a low opinion of
“Among self-identified Democrats and Independents alike and among voters at large, his numbers are actually considerably worse than those of Newsom, Ocasio-Cortez, and Harris,” Split Ticket’s Lakshya Jain wrote.
Mamdani is now the face of the Democrat Party.
That may be a reality Democrats come to regret.
