New York Attorney General Letitia James tried to take down Donald Trump.
James failed.
And Letitia James flew off the handle after Trump dropped this nightmare announcement.
As per Swamp Digest reports:
In 2018, Letitia James campaigned for New York Attorney General by promising to weaponize her office to investigate President Trump.
James then filed a legally absurd civil fraud suit against Trump claiming he defrauded banks by inflating the value of his properties to secure favorable loan terms.
Even though no bank suffered a loss and sought to do more business with Trump, a Democrat judge in New York awarded James a $464 million judgment.
An appeals court tosses the verdict in what was a win for the rule of law.
Now, James is the one facing scrutiny for her financial dealings with banks she sought mortgages from.
The Department of Justice indicted James on two counts of bank fraud and false statements to a financial institution.
A federal prosecutor alleged that James claimed a home in Virginia was a second home when it was really used as a rental property.
James made her first public appearance since the indictment at a rally for New York City’s communist mayoral candidate, Zohran Mamdani.
Most criminal defendants keep quiet once they face charges because anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law.
Not James.
In an unhinged speech, James thundered about how the Department of Justice’s indictment of her was an inflection point for American democracy.
“We are witnessing the fraying of our democracy, the erosion of our system of government,” James ranted. “This, my friends, is a defining moment in our history.”
James brought the crowd to cheers by exclaiming that the case against her was really putting the entire American left on trial.
“You come for me, you got to come though all of us!,” James shouted. “Every single one of us!”
But James is now living under the standard she created.
“For too long, powerful, wealthy people in this country have operated as if the rules do not apply to them,” James declared when she announced her lawsuit against Donald Trump.
But critics contend the evidence against James is damning.

Letitia James led a witch hunt against Donald Trump.
James only brought this lawsuit because the defendant’s last name was Trump.
And the case appeared to many Americans as a clear case of James punishing Trump for winning the 2016 election by leveraging the liberal courts in a blue state to try to seize Trump’s fortune.
In this case, a grand jury in liberal Northern Virginia heard the evidence against James and filed a two-count indictment against her.
James waged vindictive persecution of a political foe through the legal system.
The Trump Justice Department afforded Jams due process in a blue jurisdiction.
And critics argue James wants to distract from the facts and evidence by accusing Trump of pursuing a political vendetta when she was really the one guilty of that charge.
