Trump Rips Fox News Reporter for Question About Affordability

President Trump couldn’t believe what he was hearing.

Fox News turned on him.

And Donald Trump exploded on Fox News after this sinister attack on his record.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

Joe Biden’s multi-trillion-dollar socialist spending spree sent inflation spiraling to 40-year highs.

Americans suffered from this reckless spending that crushed their standard of living.

President Trump campaigned on solving the affordability crisis.

But the media – including Fox News – is painting a picture that Trump hasn’t made any progress on bringing prices down and making life in America affordable again.

Fox Business Channel reporter Edward Lawrence asked Trump if the public was impatient with the lack of progress on affordability.

“When you talk about affordability-, is going forward-, are the American people, do you believe, getting impatient with the reforms that you’re making? They’ve talked about-, it’s about-” Lawrence began before Trump cut him off.

President Trump slammed Lawrence as fake news for letting Biden and the Democrats off the hook for their inflationary spending.

“I think they’re getting fake news from guys like you. Look, affordability’s a hoax that was started by Democrats who caused the problem of pricing. And they didn’t end it when-, look, they lost it in a landslide,” Trump added.

Trump pointed to the price of gasoline, which declined to a four-year low of $2.95 per gallon as evidence his pro-American energy policies were bringing prices down.

“Look at energy, look at look at the gasoline price. That’s like the simplest, and it’s the biggest. Because if energy comes down, everything comes down, that’s the way it works,” Trump stated.

The price of a 30-year fixed-rate mortgage also declined to 6.23 percent.

That’s a drop of 58 basis points from the 6.81 percent level of one year ago.

Housing and energy were two of the biggest drivers of the affordability crisis in America.

Trump said he inherited a horrible inflation catastrophe s from Biden and that his administration was working to solve the problem and had already made significant progress.

“So no, we’re bringing the prices down, way down. Beef is coming down now. We’ve done certain magic and beef is coming down. But we inherited horrible prices. We inherited really the worst, again, the worst inflation in history. We inherited that. When I came in, that’s what he had. And we fixed inflation. And we fixed almost everything, if you want to know the truth, including eight wars,” Trump concluded.

What frustrates Trump is that the media – Fox News included – ignores the successes.
