The 2024 campaign is an election like nothing anyone has ever seen.
But the latest twist was something else.
And Oprah endorsed Trump for president in this shocking letter.
Donald Trump always says that everyone in business, the media and the entertainment industry all loved him right up until the moment he started running for president as a Republican in 2016.
There is no bigger or better example of that than Oprah.
Oprah took the stage at the Democratic National Convention to endorse Kamala Harris.
In her speech, Oprah cast the election as the final battle between good and evil like in an “Avengers” movie where voters could hand Trump a cinematic-style defeat that vanquished him for good.
“There’s a certain candidate that says if we just go to the polls this one time, we’ll never have to do it again,” Oprah stated.
Harris put Oprah up on the stage to try and appeal to suburban swing female voters and Oprah stuck to the script framing the election as a battle of “vibes.”
“So I’m calling on all you independents and all you undecideds. You know this is true. You know I’m telling you the truth, that values and character matter most of all,” Oprah added. “In leadership and in life.”
“Common sense tells you that Kamala Harris and Tim Walz can give us decency and respect,” Oprah added.
But Oprah didn’t always feel this way about Trump.
In fact, Oprah and Trump knew each other very well for many years and were friends.
They were such good friends that Oprah even endorsed the idea of running on a presidential ticket with Trump in a handwritten letter written on her own stationary.
“Too bad we’re not running for office, what a team!” Oprah wrote to Trump.

Once Trump became a threat to defeat Hillary Clinton the media coverage of Trump flipped on a dime.
Suddenly he became a racist threatening to impose the Fourth Reich on America.
Democrats at the convention focused on glitz, celebrity and sizzle.
They wanted to introduce Kamala Harris to the public as a pop culture icon who happened to enter politics on a lark.
Democrats know if voters view her as the sitting vice president in a failed administration then her campaign won’t get off the ground.
That’s why the Oprahs of the world showed up in Chicago to perform a figurative laying of hands on Harris by the liberal pop culture establishment.
