Trump Mocks The Idea Of Nikki Haley As Vice President

Nikki Haley’s presidential campaign is coming to an end.

There is no coming back from this.

And Donald Trump crushed Nikki Haley’s dreams with just two words.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

The “Haley for Vice President” rumors really came from the Ron DeSantis campaign as they tried to fan the flames of the idea that Trump would pick the pro-war, pro-open-borders globalist Haley as his running mate as a way to drive a wedge between Trump and his voters before the Iowa caucus.

That plan failed as Trump routed DeSantis by 30 points.

But the narrative about Trump picking Haley lingered as establishment pundits like Erick Erickson said Trump could unite the party, win back big-money donors and attract female suburban voters by picking Haley.

Trump’s biggest supporters made it clear Trump picking Haley was a complete nonstarter.

Donald Trump Jr. pledged to do “everything in my power” to block Haley from joining the ticket.

Georgia Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene declared the MAGA base would revolt over a Vice President Haley.

Tucker Carlson announced he would campaign for Trump’s defeat if he named Haley his running mate.

Other Trump supporters like Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz warned Haley as VP could provide the GOP establishment the excuse they need to impeach and convict Trump to exile him from the party and politics so Haley could become president and put the Mitch McConnell/Mitt Romney wing of the party back in charge.

Trump supporters look like they can breathe a sigh of relief as both Trump and Haley shot down the idea of her serving as vice president in language that can’t be walked back.

At a New Hampshire event Haley claimed serving as Trump’s VP was “off the table.”

“I’ve said from the very beginning: I don’t play for second. I don’t want to be anybody’s vice president. That is off the table,” POLITICO reported Haley telling a voter.

But that may have been more of a “you can’t fire me, I quit,” face-saving gesture by Haley as Trump said Haley is “not presidential timber.”

Trump explained that saying Haley lacked “presidential timber” was something he couldn’t go back on because the number-one requirement of VP is to be able to serve as president in an emergency.

Saying Haley lacked “presidential timber” put Trump in a box that he couldn’t get out of.

“That probably means that she’s not gonna be chosen as the vice president,” Trump told the crowd.

Trump also described Haley as the avatar for the swamp special-interest and deep-state agencies that spent the last eight years trying to sabotage his political career and put him in jail.

Donald Trump may know who his VP is.

And it’s doubtful it’s Nikki Haley.
