Kamala Harris’ honeymoon period came to an abrupt end. The momentum could be shifting in the Presidential election. And Trey Gowdy discovered this is Kamala Harris’ fatal flaw. As American Patriot Daily reports: Trey Gowdy appeared on Fox News during the Democratic National Convention and offered his analysis of the race. Gowdy explained that voters don’t care about the fact that Kamala Harris failed the bar exam on her first attempt. “No one is wondering whether or not he beat Governor Haley. That’s not on anyone’s mind. What is on people’s mind is the border, the economy, inflation, crime, national security. If you are talking about anything other than that, then you are talking about the wrong thing, race, gender, IQ scores? LSAT scores?” Gowdy began. That has nothing to do with the key issues of the election – which is the fact that Kamala Harris is directly responsible for the inflation and border crises that ravaged the nation. “No one cares about that. She was the co-pilot of the Titanic. That’s what he needs to say on day one you are going to do something? This is day 1,001. What have you done? Have you been the co-pilot of where we are now. That’s all he needs to talk about. And anything else is a wasted opportunity,” Gowdy added. In 2021 Joe Biden named Kamala Harris his border czar. That same year Kamala Harris cast the tie-breaking vote on a $1.9 trillion socialist spending bill that even liberals like former Obama chief economic adviser Lawrence Summers blamed for surging prices. The issues favor Donald Trump as a recent ABC/Washington Post/Ipsos poll showed Trump leading Kamala Harris on the issues most important to voters – the border, the economy, and inflation. Gowdy predicted Democrats would try and counteract these political headwinds by trying to repackage Kamala Harris as a moderate. But Gowdy doubted that approach would be successful since Kamala Harris would have to explain why she’s been in office for more than 1,000 days and hasn’t yet solved any of the problems facing the country. “If they are smart, they will try to present a moderate face at least for that week as difficult as that may be for them. I find it fascinating, Bret, people currently in office are talking about the future. Why don’t you do it today? Why don’t you do it tomorrow? You actually are driving the car that most Americans think is headed in the wrong direction. I mean, surely my fellow citizens are not going to fall for this on day one on day 1,001,” Gowdy concluded.
