Donald Trump came within inches of an assassin’s bullet killing him.
It was one of the darkest moments in American history.
And the Trump assassination attempt led Americans to realize one unbelievable truth.

Donald Trump was in the middle of his speech at a rally in Butler, Pennsylvania.
Then the unthinkable happened.
Gunfire rang out and Donald Trump put his hand up to his ear reacting to the pain of getting shot.
The Secret Service detail immediately rushed the stage to cover Trump.
Secret Service snipers returned fire and killed the would-be assassin. Trump struck a pose of defiance with blood running down his face and his ear nearly ripped off from the bullet and pumped his fist and told the crowd to fight, creating one of the most iconic images in American history. The Secret Service then rushed Trump to a waiting SUV which raced Trump to a nearby medical facility for evaluation. Trump came within an inch of getting murdered. The only thing that saved Trump’s life was a well-timed turn of his head. Trump posted a statement on Truth Social to update Americans on his status. “I want to thank The United States Secret Service, and all of Law Enforcement, for their rapid response on the shooting that just took place in Butler, Pennsylvania,” Trump began. Trump expressed his condolences to the innocent supporter killed and the other who was badly injured by the murderous gunman. “Most importantly, I want to extend my condolences to the family of the person at the Rally who was killed, and also to the family of another person that was badly injured,” Trump continued. Trump gave his account of the assassination attempt, recounting how he heard the bullet fly through the air and felt the projectile hit his ear. Trump then said he felt the blood running down the side of his face. “It is incredible that such an act can take place in our Country. Nothing is known at this time about the shooter, who is now dead. I was shot with a bullet that pierced the upper part of my right ear. I knew immediately that something was wrong in that I heard a whizzing sound, shots, and immediately felt the bullet ripping through the skin. Much bleeding took place, so I realized then what was happening. GOD BLESS AMERICA!” Trump concluded. America was an inch away from an unthinkable tragedy that would have thrown America into a dark place. Trump often says that no president’s undergone more than him. Supporters point to the Mueller investigation, two impeachments, four indictments and one guilty verdict to say Trump was correct.
