Kamala Harris got some last minute bad news.
Now is the time when campaigns can’t afford a slip up.
And Kamala Harris saw the red flag poll numbers that sent her into crisis mode.
As Conservative Reboot reports:
Kamala Harris Has No Good Options When It Comes to the Joe Biden Problem
Kamala Harris is in a real pickle during this campaign. If she tries to align herself with Joe Biden, she risks suffering from his unpopularity.
But if she keeps him at arm’s length, she risks deepening that unpopularity and bringing herself down with it.
There is really no good answer for her, and that’s why her campaign has frequently sent mixed messages about whether she will govern the same way Biden has.
American voters are naturally very skeptical that someone who is currently in the White House is going to chart her own course, which is perhaps why Harris has hardly even tried to distance herself from Biden.
But she might have to consider it after seeing these latest poll numbers.
Joe Biden’s administration is widely disliked in the most important swing states in America, and it could drag down Kamala Harris’s campaign.
Swing State Voters are Dissatisfied With This Administration
According to Breitbart, “Most Pennsylvania likely voters say they are not better off than they were four years ago, and they do not believe that America is safer now than when former President Donald Trump left office, according to a Rasmussen Reports survey.
“Rasmussen Reports shared a snippet of its findings from swing state polls, sharing one snapshot from a few questions for voters in the key swing state of Pennsylvania.”
Pennsylvania has become perhaps the most important state in America in presidential elections, as it is a big state with a lot of electoral power, and it is split practically 50/50 Republican-Democrat.
If Harris’s ship is sinking in Pennsylvania, then she is going to have a very hard time winning the election as a whole.
The article continues, “The survey asked respondents, ‘Are you better off than you were four years ago?’ Most likely voters, 53 percent, said ‘no,’ they are not better off than they were four years ago. Just 38 percent said they are better off, and nine percent remain unsure.
“The survey showed that Pennsylvania voters tend to have a dour outlook, as most, 53 percent, said today’s children will not be better off than their parents. Only 21 percent believe they will be better off, and about a quarter, 26 percent, remain unsure.”
Of course, this poll is a problem for America just as much as it is for Harris. This is why many young people are choosing not to have kids.
The pessimistic messages people are hearing about the future are causing them to make destructive choices.
But in the short term, this is a big problem for Kamala Harris.
Voters are clearly unhappy with the performance of the administration that she is a member of alongside Joe Biden.
It is going to be very difficult for her to shed that association, and it could wind up costing her the election.
