Democrats were taken completely by surprise.

Panic is beginning to set in on the left.

And Kamala Harris got bad news in these key swing states.

Democrats switched out Joe Biden for Kamala Harris after Donald Trump staged his convention to set up a short sprint to Election Day.

The bet was parachuting in a new candidate with less than 100 days to go would let Democrats define Kamala Harris on their own terms using media propaganda and their four-day convention.

Democrats believed this would propel Kamala Harris towards election day the way a stunt car flips on the propulsion tank in short track racing.

And for a month, it worked.

Kamala rode the wave of biased media coverage and celebrity support to a lead nationally and in the swing states.

Trump’s pollster Tony Fabrizio predicted this would happen, comparing Kamala’s anticipated rise in the polls to a “sugar high.”

And like a “sugar high,” Kamala’s momentum quickly wore off.

Coming out of the convention, Kamala’s handlers figured a bounce would shoot her to an outside the margin of error lead over Trump.

The opposite happened.

The more voters saw of Kamala, the less they liked her.

Pennsylvania is the most important state on the map.

Kamala can’t hit 270 Electoral College votes without it.

The most recent poll from the Commonwealth was from Wick Insights and it showed Trump leading Kamala with all candidates on the ballot tested.

Pennsylvania wasn’t the only battleground moving towards Trump.

Polls taken after the Democratic National Convention showed all seven battlegrounds shifting in Trump’s direction.

This period – the immediate aftermath of the convention – should be when Kamala Harris’ poll numbers reach their peak.

Instead, her momentum is receding like the tide.

That’s why Election Forecaster Nate Silver’s model continues to show Donald Trump’s chances of winning the election increasing.
