The 2024 election turned on a dime once again.
No one has ever seen an election with this many twists and turns.
And all hell broke loose over this shocking poll result.
The data point that both Republicans and Democrats agree on is that Pennsylvania is the whole ball of wax.
Between Donald Trump and Kamala Harris, whomever wins Pennsylvania’s 20 Electoral College votes becomes the nation’s 47th President.
Polls are exceptionally tight.
In a 24-hour span, Muhlenberg College, Susquehanna, and RMG Research all put out polls showing Trump and Kamala Harris tied.
Then the bombshell hit.
Fox News released a poll of Pennsylvania showing Donald Trump holding a one-point lead over Kamala Harris.

POLITICO published an article headlined “Kamala Harris’ Pennsylvania Problem” that drew attention to the fact that Kamala Harris faces significant erosion among working-class Catholics that could cost her the state and the election.
Kamala Harris’ support for abortion-on-demand up until the moment of birth is clearly a hindrance in appealing to Catholic voters.
But Kamala Harris also staged performances in Congress attacking nominees for their Catholic faith.
“Harris’ challenge isn’t limited to abortion. The region continues to inch rightward. And Harris didn’t do herself any favors in 2018, when as a senator she grilled a Catholic judicial nominee about whether he could remain impartial due to his membership in the Knights of Columbus, a respected Catholic fraternal organization with a strong presence in northeastern Pennsylvania,” POLITICO reported.
Lackawanna County – home to Joe Biden’s birthplace of Scranton – is a critical swing county in Pennsylvania.
Joe Biden – a Catholic from Scranton – played a major role in Democrats’ appeal to voters in Lackawanna County.
Biden carried Lackawanna County 54-45 over Donald Trump in 2020.
But local Democrats warned POLITCO that Catholics had no connection to Kamala Harris and she would fail to match Biden’s margin in Lackawanna.
“We don’t have the Catholic connection with Harris. We don’t have the local connection with Harris,” life-long Democrat and advertising executive Phil Condron told POLITICO of Kamala Harris’ troubles in Lackawanna.
“So there’s really no reason to believe that she can approach the numbers that Biden was able to get when he ran last time.”
Kamala Harris falling short of Biden’s approval in Lackawanna could prove fatal to her chances of winning the commonwealth.
In 2016, Hillary Clinton only carried Lackawanna by three points – and narrowing that margin helped Donald Trump become the first Republican since 1988 to win Pennsylvania.
