Kamala Harris needed someone to bail her out.
An ally rushed to her defense.
And Kamala Harris counted one big lie to distract Donald Trump.
As American Media Watchdog reports:
Kamala Harris bragged she was the last one in the room with Joe Biden on the decision to withdraw from Afghanistan.
The incompetent course of action that Kamala Harris and Biden chose led to the deaths of 13 service members at the Kabul Airport in a terrorist attack.
Since that horrific tragedy, Biden and Kamala Harris pretended like those deaths didn’t happen because it’s a massive political liability.
The Gold Star families of the fallen soldiers invited Donald Trump to Arlington Cemetery to participate in a wreath laying ceremony to honor the memory of their children on the third anniversary of the Abbey Gate attack.
Kamala Harris’ surrogates in the media wanted to keep the focus away from the fact that Harris played a direct role in the Afghanistan withdrawal fiasco and therefore can’t give these Gold Star families the public recognition they deserve by manufacturing a new so-called “crisis” surrounding Donald Trump instead.
National Public Radio (NPR) claimed that Trump’s team berated and manhandled a cemetery official who tried to stop Trump’s team from filming in a restricted area.
“Two members of Donald Trump’s campaign staff had a verbal and physical altercation Monday with an official at Arlington National Cemetery, where the former president participated in a wreath-laying ceremony,” National Public Radio’s Quil Lawrence and Tom Bowman of NPR reported.
Trump’s team fired right back saying the fault for the altercation lay with the individual who confronted Trump’s staffers who aides called “despicable” and out of their mind.
“The fact is that a private photographer was permitted on the premises and for whatever reason an unnamed individual, clearly suffering from a mental health episode, decided to physically block members of President Trump’s team during a very solemn ceremony,” Trump campaign spokesman Steven Cheung declared.
Senior advisor Chris LaCivita described the individual in question as “a disgrace and does not deserve to represent the hallowed grounds of Arlington National Cemetery.”
NPR looked ridiculous when the military members and Gold Star families in attendance rushed to Donald Trump’s offense.
U.S. Army veteran Lucas O’Hara was in attendance and wrote on social media that “I have witnessed over 75 wreath laying ceremonies performed by politicians and conducted 524 funerals in this cemetery during the time I served in the Presidential Honor Guard for three years.”
O’Hara praised the conduct of Trump and his team.
“What I got to witness yesterday was the most respectful and solemn ceremony I have seen,” O’Hara added.
O’Hara recounted how Trump and the other elected officials made no speeches or conducted any political activities.
All Trump wanted to do – O’Hara stated – was comfort the Gold Star families and honor their children’s service and sacrifice.
“There were no speeches, no angles, no weird photo ops just our elected officials and the 45th President respectfully and solemnly honoring the fallen and their families,” O’Hara concluded.
To put the matter fully to rest, the Gold Star families released a lengthy statement thanking Donald Trump for attending and said they were the ones who requested that Trump’s team film the event.
