President Trump is shaking up Washington.

And Pam Bondi just forced one mass resignation that will have Trump jumping for joy.

Prosecutors inside the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York often refer to it as the Sovereign District of New York.
The office’s size and scope of the cases it handles due to its location in New York essentially render it an island unto itself.
The weaponized Justice Department needed to get brought to heel after spending the last four years trying to jail Donald Trump and his supporters for what happened on January 6.
Attorney General Pam Bondi began by firing the prosecutors and FBI agents who worked the January 6 and Mar-a-Lago documents case witch hunts.
Next up was the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York where the Biden administration indicted New York City Mayor Eric Adams on flimsy corruption charges shortly after Adams began criticizing Biden for opening the border and dumping 100,000 illegal aliens into New York.
The Trump Justice Department dropped the charges asserting that the case against Adams was politically motivated.
Eight prosecutors resigned in protest all while making their reasons for quitting public in letters they leaked to their allies in the left-wing press.
Acting Deputy Attorney General Emil Bove attended the hearing in New York where prosecutors moved to dismiss the charges against Adams.
Bove later told reporters that he was committed to returning the Department of Justice to its core mission of enforcing the laws of the United States and that it would no longer serve to settle the Democrat Party’s political scores.
“I went to New York today to show the men and women of the Justice Department as well as the American people that I am personally committed to our shared fight: ending weaponized government, stopping the invasion of criminal illegal aliens, and eliminating drug cartels and transnational gangs from our homeland,” Bove stated.
Bove added that if there were any more deep-state loyalists inside the Department of Justice who were upset they were no longer the Democrat Party’s Praetorian Guard, they were welcome to quit and use the letters leaked to CNN as their resignation statement template.
“For those at the Department who are with me in those battles and understand that there are no separate sovereigns in this Executive Branch, we’re going to do great things to make America safe again. For those who do not support our critical mission, I understand there are templates for resignation letters available on the websites of the New York Times and CNN,” Bove added.
Bove then spoke to the larger fight President Trump is waging against the bureaucracy, which is the idea that so-called “career” officials thinks they are independent of electoral outcomes so that when Republicans win power they can continue to operate as leftist ideologues and thwart the will of the people as an unelected and unaccountable fourth branch of government.
“You lost sight of the oath that you took when you started at the Department of Justice by suggesting that you retain discretion to interpret the Constitution in a manner inconsistent with the policies of a democratically elected President and a Senate-confirmed Attorney General,” Bove wrote in a letter to Danielle Sassoon, the acting U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York who resigned over the decision to dismiss the charges against Adams.
