Jasmine Crockett Senate Campaign Launch Video Draws Mockery

Texas Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett is no stranger to controversy.

But this is one bit of notoriety that Crockett would have liked to avoid.

And Jasmine Crockett will never live down this unreal video.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Jasmine Crockett is the race-obsessed woke fanatic who once claimed only “mediocre white boys” oppose DEI programs.

Crockett certainly doesn’t fit the profile of someone who could win statewide in Texas.

But Crockett knows it’s the profile of someone who can raise tens of millions of dollars and become famous by running for Senate in Texas.

And Crockett made the worst-kept secret in politics official by announcing her candidacy for the Senate.

Crockett did so in a predictably absurd fashion.

The campaign kickoff video featured Crockett standing silently for 36 seconds while audio of President Trump calling her stupid played over and over.

Mediaite reports of the audio:

Trump: How about this new one they have? Their new star, Crockett. How about her? She’s the new star of the Democrat Party, Jasmine Crockett, they’re in big trouble.

Trump: But you have this woman Crockett, she’s a really low-IQ person.

Trump: I watched her speak the other day, and she’s definitely a low-IQ person.

Trump: Crockett. Oh man, oh man. She’s a very low-IQ person.

Trump: Somebody said the other day she’s one of the leaders of the party. I think you’ve got to be kidding.

Trump: Now they’re gonna rely on Crockett.

Crockett’s goal with the video was simple.

Stand silently and let Trump’s taunts about her low IQ make her look like a victim, so enraged white liberals will think Trump is racist for calling a black woman dumb, and then pump money into her campaign account.

Crockett showed she wasn’t running a serious race within hours of throwing her hat in the ring.

In an interview on CNN, Crockett told host Laurie Coates she doesn’t need to win over Trump voters.

“I don’t know that we’ll necessarily convert all of Trump’s supporters. That’s not our goal,” Crockett stated.

“Do you need to?” a stunned Coates asked.

“No, we don’t. We don’t need to,” Crockett shot back.

If Crockett actually wanted to win, she would have to win Trump voters.

President Trump carried Texas by 14 points, and there simply aren’t enough Democrats in the state for Crockett to win without winning over Trump voters.

But for Crockett’s purposes – which are brand building – she doesn’t need to win a single Trump voter since critics contend her plan for this race is to turn her candidacy into a star-making vehicle so she can cash in with a book and a podcast deal.
