Democrats are throwing the kitchen sink at the Trump administration.
Their target is once again Pete Hegseth,
And Chuck Schumer dug a deep hole with this sick lie about Pete Hegseth.

Democrats can’t let go of the hoax that Secretary of War Pete Hegseth committed a war crime by ordering the military to kill survivors of an initial strike on a drug-running boat in the Caribbean.
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is looking to ward off a primary on the left, so he kept this story alive by keeping up the fiction that Hegseth murdered helpless survivors.
Schumer’s latest ploy was demanding that the administration turn over to Congress the unedited video of the strike.
“I plan to confront Secretary Hegseth on exactly what the hell is going on in the Caribbean,” Schumer ranted. “I plan to demand Secretary Hegseth give the total, unedited videos of what happened on the September 2 boat strikes.”
Schumer acted like Hegseth was participating in a cover-up.
“What’s Hegseth hiding?” Schumer exclaimed.
“I will demand of Rubio and Hegseth, what the hell is going on in the Caribbean and in Venezuela? What are their plans? How far do they plan to go?” Schumer added.
The Washington Post got the ball rolling with a fake news story falsely claiming Hegseth gave an order for the military to “kill everybody in a September 2 strike.
“Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth gave a spoken directive, according to two people with direct knowledge of the operation. “The order was to kill everybody,” one of them said.
The Post then claimed the military obliterated the remains of a boat hit by missiles as survivors clung to the wreckage for dear life.
A missile screamed off the coast of Trinidad, striking the vessel and igniting a blaze from bow to stern. For minutes, commanders watched the boat burning on a live drone feed. As the smoke cleared, they got a jolt: Two survivors were clinging to the smoldering wreck,” the Post’s exclusively reported.
Schumer knew his story was bunk when he staged his press conference.
Ranking Member of the House Intelligence Committee Jim Himes (D-CT) told reporters that Admiral Frank “Mitch” Bradley briefed the committee on the strike.
Bradley said he gave the order for a second strike and that Hegseth never gave a “kill everybody” order.
“The Admiral confirmed that there had not been a kill them all order and that there was not an order to grant no quarter,” Himes told reporters.
Schumer is desperate to avoid a primary as polls show Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez trouncing him in a hypothetical matchup.
And in his desperation to cling to power, he’s trying to breathe life into a media hoax.
