FBI Director Kash Patel couldn’t believe what he uncovered about Jack Smith’s witch hunt against President Trump.
Patel needed to go public as quickly as possible.

Joe Biden weaponizing the government against Donald Trump and his supporters was even worse than anyone knew.
The public already knew that Joe Biden prosecutor Jack Smith tried to jail Donald Trump on fake criminal charges as part of the January 6 hoax.
But Director Patel announced he recently discovered a document showing that the Joe Biden FBI and Smith conspired to spy on eight Republican Senators and a Republican House member by snooping through their phone records.
“We recently uncovered proof that phone records of U.S. lawmakers were seized for political purposes. That abuse of power ends now. Under my leadership, the FBI will deliver truth and accountability, and never again be weaponized against the American people,” Patel wrote on X.
Fox News reported that the document, dated September 27, 2023, showed that as part of “Operation: Arctic Frost,” Smith and the deep state subpoenaed phone records for “GOP Sens. Lindsey Graham of South Carolina, Marsha Blackburn of Tennessee, Ron Johnson of Wisconsin, Josh Hawley of Missouri, Cynthia Lummis of Wyoming, Bill Hagerty of Tennessee, Dan Sullivan of Alaska, Tommy Tuberville of Alabama and GOP Rep. Mike Kelly of Pennsylvania.”
Smith’s team compared toll records to phone records obtained from telecommunications companies to determine who the Republicans Smith’s team was spying on and from what location.
“The document states the names of the lawmakers and that an FBI special agent on Smith’s team conducted preliminary toll analysis” on the toll records associated with the lawmakers. Fox News reported.
“An FBI official told Fox News Digital that Smith and his team tracking the senators were able to see which phone numbers they called, the location the phone call originated, and the location where it was received,” the report added.
Republicans were predictably outraged.
Senator Hawley compared Smith and the Biden FBI to the East German Stasi, the secret police who spied on political opposition for the communist regime and would jail dissidents on trumped-up charges.
“The truth comes out. Biden’s Stasi, who claimed to be saving “our sacred democracy,” in fact worked overtime to destroy it – all for power,” Hawley.
Hawley connected Smith’s team tapping phones of Congressional Republicans to the Biden-era FBI abuses of spying on political opponents, such as infiltrating Catholic Churches or monitoring parents who protested at school board meetings.
“They spied on Catholic churches, prosecuted pro-lifers, deployed the FBI against parents at school board meetings – and tried to tap the phones of their political enemies. Including mine,” Hawley continued.
Hawley called Watergate and the abuses of civil liberties under former Director J. Edgar Hoover child’s play compared to Biden working through the FBI and a handpicked prosecutor to surveil political opposition.
“This is an abuse of power beyond Watergate, beyond J. Edgar Hoover, one that directly strikes at the Constitution, the separation of powers, and the First Amendment,” Hawley continued.
Hawley applauded Director Patel’s transparency.
But Hawley said accountability was necessary in the form of criminal charges against the guilty parties who abused their power.
“We need a full investigation of all involved: who knew about it, who ordered it, and who approved it. Anyone and everyone who violates the law must be prosecuted. The way to save the country is to restore the rule of law,” Hawley concluded.
