Everyone wants to know who Donald Trump will pick as his running mate.
A big hint just got dropped.
A potential Trump vice presidential pick welcomed one fight that will scare Joe Biden, the Democrats, the Deep State, and the media.
One of the emerging frontrunners is Senator J.D. Vance (R-OH).
Vance won the Senate in 2022 as an America First conservative and is one of Trump’s strongest allies in Congress.
Trump added to the Vice-Presidential buzz by declaring Vance was a “fighter” when the two appeared together at a rally in Ohio.
Fox News Laura Ingraham asked Vance about the growing speculation that he was at the top of Donald Trump’s running mate shortlist.
Vance didn’t deny that was the case and would only say that Trump hasn’t spoken to him about the position, but that he’d seriously consider any offer should Trump make one.
“Well, Laura, I’ve actually never spoken to the president about VP speculation. My simple answer is, I want to help him however I can. If he asked me, of course, I would think seriously about it. It would be a great honor. I also am happy to support the agenda in the United States Senate and regardless, Laura, you have to remember my job is to serve the people of Ohio,” Vance told Ingraham.
Vance explained to Ingraham that Trump’s America First agenda was the only way to drag the economy out of the doldrums that Joe Biden’s inflation has plunged the nation into and to seal the wide open southern border shut.
“Whether it’s supporting Trump’s agenda in the Senate or serving in some other role, we have got to bring good manufacturing jobs, good prosperity to the people of Ohio and the American heartland. For 40 years, we had a bipartisan consensus to ship jobs overseas to bring unchecked migration. Trump stopped that and the real question for the Republican Party is whether we follow that lead and double down on that winning agenda or do we try to go back to the old ways?” Vance added.
Vance warned Ingraham that there were still hostile forces within the GOP led by establishment RINOs such as Senators Mitch McConnell, John Cornyn, and Jon Thune who wanted to pull the GOP back to the party of Mitt Romney with endless wars, mass illegal immigration, and globalist trade deals that shipped jobs overseas.
“And, unfortunately, Laura, as you know as well as I do, there is a critical component of the old guard of the Republican Party that wants to go back to the old ways – more immigration, more war, less good wages for American workers. Thank God Trump is there to push back against it,” Vance continued.
Vance used this appearance to make the case that he’s the America First fighter Donald Trump is looking for in a running mate.
Trump is expected to announce his selection before the GOP convention in July.
Conservatives would be thrilled if Vance is the ultimate choice.
