Former Clinton Pollster Believes AOC is a Formidable 2028 Contender

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is facing a looming decision.

Ocasio-Cortez’s choice may have just been made.

And Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez just got the startling news she was waiting to hear.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez Has Big Ambitions

Common sense would seem to indicate that Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez does not have a great chance of becoming president any time soon, given her youth and her extreme views.

But one pundit is throwing cold water on that, suggesting that she may have a better chance of ascending to the White House than many people might think she does.

Doug Schoen is a Fox News contributor and is far from a radical socialist, but he is trying to be objective.

And he had some things to say about Ocasio-Cortez and her future ambitions that could be concerning to people.

If Ocasio-Cortez were to win the White House, she would be perhaps the most extreme president in United States history.

She would certainly be the first president ever elected who self-identifies as a socialist.

And if people do not want this to happen, then now is the time for them to start mobilizing and organizing to try to stop her.

Doug Schoen of Fox News Thinks She Could Win the White House

According to Schoen, writing for Fox News, “Rather – implausible as it may seem to some – New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez appears to be the front-runner for Democrats’ 2028 presidential nomination, should she forgo a Senate campaign, which she would almost certainly win.”

“Put another way, right now, Kamala Harris will likely not be president in 2028, but AOC could very well be the Democratic nominee, with a shot at the White House.”

History shows that power often swings back and forth between the two parties, and coming off a controversial Trump administration, Americans might be willing to give a Democrat a shot.

If that Democrat is Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, then America might be in for some serious trouble as she attempts to implement her radical socialist agenda.

The article continues, “Additionally, AOC’s favorability (46%) ranks higher than President Trump (44%), as well as Vice President JD Vance and former Vice President Kamala Harris (42% each), per Atlas Intel.”

“In a series of hypothetical 2028 matchups pitting Vance against top Democrats, Vance’s three-point lead over AOC (44% to 41%) is virtually identical to his lead over Newsom (45% to 42%) and over Pete Buttigieg (44% to 43%), per Emerson.”

It’s clear that despite her extremism, there are a lot of people out there who like Ocasio-Cortez, perhaps because of her youth and charisma.

These people might be willing to look past the ideas that she is putting forward, which are far out of step with the mainstream of American political thought, and vote for her anyway.

Ocasio-Cortez is still not the favorite for 2028 by any stretch, but she may well be the nominee, and if she is then she has a very real chance of winning the White House in the November election.

This would be nothing short of a catastrophe for America, and many people are going to want to mobilize politically to stop that.
