Elon Musk and DOGE are carrying out one of the most important jobs in the Trump administration.

Musk knows it’s time to drain the swamp.

And Elon Musk made a major DOGE announcement that left Trump’s jaw on the ground.

Elon Musk and his team at DOGE are working extremely hard to make the government more efficient and cut spending to reduce the spending deficit in this country.

But some people are starting to think they actually might be working too hard, to the point where it might be counterproductive and start to cause problems in and of itself.

Musk says that his team is working 120 hours a week to try to cut down on government spending, which, needless to say, is an insane amount of time to spend working during a week.

People are supposed to get 8 hours of sleep per night in order to stay healthy, and while not everyone hits that number, everyone should try to get as close as they possibly can.

But if Musk’s team is working 120 hours a week, they are almost certainly getting far less than 8 hours per night, and it might start to seriously impact the quality of their work.

This would be very concerning for a team of people that has been given a serious task that demands extremely high-quality work and could have major implications if they make a mistake.

According to Fortune, “Back in February, Elon Musk said he and his team at the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) are working 120 hours a week.

“To be clear, there are 168 hours in a week, which means if Musk and his DOGE employees are working for 120 of those hours, there are only 48 hours remaining for them to use for everything else: preparing and eating food, personal hygiene, not to mention free time for hobbies or spending time with their families.”

It should be obvious to nearly everybody that working 120 hours a week is not a good thing and could actually harm the work that the person in question is doing.

People need to be well-rested in order to get quality work done, otherwise their minds are not as sharp, and it is harder to fully concentrate.

The article continues, “Musk, though, is famously a workaholic. In a November 2022 interview with Baron Capital CEO Ron Baron, the world’s richest man said he was ‘living in the factory in Fremont, and the one in Nevada, for three years straight. That was my primary residence.’”

Musk may be a workaholic, which is fantastic, but his employees also might feel pressure to work the exact same way he does, which they may not be capable of.

Musk is a very unique person, and there is nobody else like him, and few other people capable of doing the things that he does.
