And Elon Musk said one word about Trump that put Democrats in a state of terror.
From 2017 to 2020, the media whipped up a state of hysteria surrounding Donald Trump.
Media outlets covered every story with the volume turned up to eleven.
CNN even tried to make a scandal out of Donald Trump getting two scoops of ice cream while his guests only got one.
The lunacy culminated in 2020 with lies about how Donald Trump mismanaged the COVID pandemic by not supporting mass lockdowns and mask mandates, and then the George Floyd riots in the streets which the media claimed were justified for Donald Trump being a white supremacist.
Social media censoring Trump and his supporters forced Americans to view the election through the liberal media’s chosen filter.
Democrats won because they controlled the information environment.
Elon Musk buying Twitter and firing all the censorship employees in 2022 changed everything.
Musk protecting free speech on X – combined with the proliferation of podcasts as a primary news source for Americans – meant the voters could make up their own minds.
Trump won the election because voters could hear directly from Trump on shows like Joe Rogan’s where they realized the media was lying about Trump being a racist, fascist threat to democracy.
The longform format of podcasts allowed voters to see the human side of Trump that the media tried to hide with a caricature.
On one of his post-election shows, Rogan remarked how the media ran a coordinated psy-op to gaslight voters into thinking Trump was some kind of monster.
“What we saw is the greatest media psy-op in history,” Rogan stated.
“What you’re seeing with Trump, regardless of his flaws, is a massive concentrated psy-op,” Rogan added.
“They’ve distorted who he is to the point where most people think that way. Most people think that way. They’ve had narratives.”
Rogan’s guest asked what a psy-op was and Rogan explained it was mental manipulation to trick people into taking a course of action they wouldn’t if they were clear thinking.
“Psychological operation,” Rogan stated. “Where they’ve decided to distort people’s perceptions of things.”
Rogan remarked that the sense of panic setting in on the media after the 2024 election was due to the fact that Trump won by ignoring them.
Trump barely did any interviews with so-called “mainstream media” outlets and simply communicated with the voters directly through podcasts and social media.
“They had control of the media up until now. This election was the first time they didn’t really have control of the media anymore,” Rogan concluded.
Elon Musk shared the snippet of Rogan breaking down how the media failed in their operation to deceive the public and posted a one-word response.
