Schiff fell back on an old hobby horse of his, knowing it was favorable terrain for his allies in the media.
And that was the January 6 hoax.
For the last four years, Schiff – by virtue of serving on the January 6 Committee – sat at the center of pushing the big lie that Donald Trump incited an insurrection by encouraging his supporters to storm the Capital.
Joe Biden seized on this big lie to declare a domestic war on terror against Trump supporters where more than 1,500 were rounded up and arrested in the largest manhunt in American history.
Trump supporters stood no chance of receiving a fair trial in the heavily Democrat Washington, D.C.
That’s why Donald Trump balanced the scales of justice with a blanket pardon.

Adam Schiff showed up on MSNBC fuming about the pardons, falsely claiming that Trump sanctioned political violence with his pardons and rehashing the tired lie that Donald Trump wanted to establish a dictatorship.
“But then finally, in giving these violent offenders these pardons, he is essentially telling people who would commit violence on his behalf that he has their back, that he will pardon them if they commit violence in the service of Donald Trump. And you would be hard-pressed to find a country that has gone from a democracy to a dictatorship without finding this step of essentially pardoning people who commit violence on behalf of the would-be dictator. It doesn’t mean that we’re gonna become a dictatorship. But it does mean that we have taken one tragic step in that direction,” Schiff ranted.
But people in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones.
Trump taught Schiff that lesson by telling Sean Hannity that Schiff was corrupt and had begged Biden for a preemptive pardon, which Biden ended up extending to Schiff and a host of family members and political cronies.
“I’ve always been — look, he didn’t give himself a pardon and he didn’t give some other people a pardon that needed it. And I heard Schiff went to him and just begged him for a pardon because Schiff is a crook. Schiff is a crooked guy. He’s a crooked politician. He made up the story about Russia, Russia, Russia. He totally made it up. He’s a storyteller,” Trump declared.
The Supreme Court ruled that a pardon carries a confession of guilt.
And Trump and many of his supporters believe that the only reason Biden pardoned Schiff and the rest of the January 6 Committee members was because Biden thought they faced real criminal exposure on charges of witness tampering and obstruction of justice.
