Pope Francis ignited a feud with Donald Trump.

But it ended up being the latest example of how the second Trump administration is nothing like the first.

And Pope Francis just found out why it was a bad idea to start this fight with Donald Trump.

Radical leftwing and pro-open borders Pope Francis declared Donald Trump’s mass deportations a “disgrace.”

In an interview with an Italian media outlet, Francis couldn’t even offer a message of goodwill to President Trump without lying and baselessly accusing him of fomenting “hatred.”

“Inspired by your nation’s ideals of being a land of opportunity and welcome for all, it is my hope that under your leadership, the American people will prosper and always strive to build a more just society, where there is no room for hatred, discrimination or exclusion,” Pope Francis said.

Francis falsely claimed that Trump was scapegoating “poor wretches that don’t have anything foot the bill.”

“That’s not right. That’s not how you solve problems,” Pope Francis continued.

This was just a continuation of the attacks Francis lobbed at Trump starting in the 2016 campaign where he first said Trump was a fake Christian because of his proposed border wall and then again throughout Trump’s first term by attacking populist conservatives and defending the globalist agenda.

But Border Czar Tom Homan fired right back in an interview on Newsmax and called out Francis for being a hypocrite.

The Pope – Homan reminded viewers – lives in the Vatican which is surrounded by a giant wall.

It’s also a serious crime to illegally enter the Vatican, Homan added.

“They have a wall around the Vatican. And if you illegally enter the Vatican, the crime is serious. You’ll be charged with a serious crime. Be jailed!” Homan declared.

Homan wondered why – if a wall was good enough to secure the Pope – then don’t the American people deserve one to secure the nation’s southern border too?

“So he can protect the Vatican where he lives. He can build a wall where he lives, but American people are not allowed that,” Homan added.

And Homan also warned the Pope that he had much bigger fish to fry such as the church’s massive sex abuse scandal where pedophile priests abused altar boys.

“The Pope ought to stick to the Catholic church and fix that. That’s a mess,” Homan concluded.
