Democrats Were About to Spring a New Impeachment Hoax. Two Courts Just Ended That Dream

The entire Democratic Party thought the stars had finally aligned to bounce President Trump from office.

But then the bottom fell out.

Hakeem Jeffries was about to spring a new impeachment hoax. Two courts just ended that dream.

As Conservative Reboot reports:

The battle over redistricting had come to define the terrain on which the parties would fight the 2026 election.

Democrats thought ramming through new maps in California and Virginia would net them 9 new seats and sew up the majority in the House of Representatives, since Democrats only needed to net 4 seats to flip the House before any votes were cast.

That would allow the Democrats’ big money donors like George Soros to pour all their resources into winning the Senate.

Democrats were already gloating that they would impeach Trump the second Hakeem Jeffries seized the Speaker’s gavel.

“Inside the House Dem push to impeach Trump on Day 1,” read a headline on Axios.

Those plans all unraveled thanks to the Virginia Supreme Court, which tossed the map Democrats muscled through.

The new map flipped the Congressional delegation from 6-5 to 10-1 Democrat.

The court ruled Democrats violated state law to get the referendum on the ballot by not waiting for an election between two special session votes to put the measure before voters.

“To place an amendment on the ballot in Virginia, the legislature is required to vote on it twice in separate special sessions with an election in between. Lawyers for the Republicans argued that the first vote was in a special session that had been called for other topics long before. And the court, with the justices split four to three, said not enough time had passed between the first vote and the “intervening” election a few days later, NPR reported.

This ruling, combined with a Supreme Court ruling allowing red states to draw new maps that eliminated racial gerrymandering that handed Democrats up to 20 illegal seats, put Republicans firmly in control of the ace for control of the House.

In the wake of these court decisions, at least 10 seats immediately moved into the GOP’s favor.

Democrats were left crying to the media about how their chances of winning the House now looked like a pipe dream.

“Damn, California and Virginia were supposed to be our bigger ones,’ one House Democrat, speaking on the condition of anonymity to avoid getting out ahead of their leadership, said in a phone interview after the ruling was released,” Axios reported one Democrat telling the outlet.

“This means we gotta make sure we have a good wave to win the House … we have to make sure we win a lot of those toss-ups,” the Democrat added. “Democrats now have to pitch a perfect game.”

“Another House Democrat, also speaking on the condition of anonymity, offered a one-word reaction in a text message to Axios: “F*****ck!!” Axios reported a second Democrat ranting to them.
