Donald Trump knew changing Washington would be difficult.

But Trump didn’t expect it to be this hard.

Now Donald Trump was just insulted by the last group he ever expected.

As West Wing Daily reports:

Employees have no obligation to like their boss, and nearly everyone can think of times when they had a boss who they really did not get along with.

Along the same lines, federal government employees are not obligated to like Donald Trump or the people he has hired to lead their departments, and they can hold whatever opinions they want.

But when that dislike leads to insubordination and disrespect, it goes too far and crosses a moral boundary.

That is exactly what seems to have happened with employees of the Department of Housing and Urban Development, who clearly are not fans of Trump or Elon Musk.

They played an AI video at their headquarters that depicts Trump and Musk engaged in degrading acts and laughed at it at the expense of their own employers.

Even liberal news publications like Rolling Stone didn’t try to defend the act, perhaps due to the disrespectful and immoral nature of what these HUD employees did.

Here’s what Rolling Stone had to say: “According to videos and photos circulated on social media, televisions at HUD’s central office in Washington, D.C., were hijacked to play an AI-generated video of Trump making sweet, sloppy oral love to Musk’s bare feet. The words ‘LONG LIVE THE REAL KING’ were emblazoned over the visual, likely a reference to recent posts from Trump and the White House describing the president as ‘the king.’”

“In one clip circulated on social media, an employee can be heard saying that ‘someone’s gonna get fired.’ According to independent journalist Marisa Kabas, the video played on loop for about five minutes. An exact amount of time is hard to ascertain given that — according to Kabas — staff couldn’t figure out how to shut off the lewd lapping all at once, and instead dispatched employees to manually unplug every monitor they could find.”

It remains to be seen what Scott Turner, Trump’s new secretary of Housing and Urban Development, does about this behavior within his department.

He is certainly not going to want his employees continuing to behave like this.

The article continues, “In a statement to The Hill, HUD spokesperson Kasey Lovett said that the stunt was ‘another waste of taxpayer dollars and resources’ and that ‘appropriate action will be taken for all involved.’”

Federal government employees tend to lean heavily to the left, and it is not a surprise that most of them didn’t vote for Trump and aren’t happy that he’s in office.

Of course, this isn’t the case for every single employee of the federal government, but by and large it is true.

But regardless of their political views, these people have jobs to do, and they should respect the people who they work for.

That is the exact opposite of what just happened at HUD, and it seems there will be consequences.
