Barack Obama Admits Trump Eclipsed Him in History

Barack Obama did everything in his power to stop Donald Trump from winning the Presidency.

The scope of Obama’s failure finally set in.

And Barack Obama raged about Donald Trump handing him this huge embarrassment.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Barack Obama was the guest on the final episode of comedian Marc Maron’s WTF podcast.

In the interview, Obama’s bitterness about losing his place in history to Trump shone through.

When Obama burst on the scene in 2008, the media hailed him as a messianic figure who would usher in a post-racial, post-partisan era of politics.

Instead, Obama let the banks get off scot-free for the 2008 subprime mortgage meltdown.

Obama expanded the wars in the Middle East to Syria and Libya while also escalating the conflict in Afghanistan.

Obama inflamed racial tensions by saying Trayvon Martin could have been his son after Martin attacked George Zimmerman and ended up dying in the conflict.

Obama opened the border to millions of illegal aliens.

Obama also oversaw the birth of the Black Lives Matter movement as left-wing terrorists burned Ferguson, Missouri, and Baltimore, Maryland, to the ground.

The woke era, with its preferred pronouns and transgender surgeries for kids, also exploded.

Left-wing cultural dominance that Obama ushered in reached its zenith in 2020 with the George Floyd insurrection and cancel culture taking over college campuses, the media, and corporate America.

The American people elected Donald Trump twice, effectively closing the book on this era of politics.

Obama let his resentments spill out, telling Maron that “a lot of what I represented, a lot of what Michelle and I had tried to project, the values our thinking about America, my successor seemed to represent the opposite.”

Obama said the American people’s rejection of his racial grievance politics for Trump left his supporters down in the dumps.

“So I think there was a lot of far among a big chunk of the country,” Obama said of Trump’s two elections.

Obama began to scratch the surface of his culpability in the rise of Trump without fully realizing the point.

Later on in the interview, Obama complained that America wasn’t a parliamentary system of government, where the opposition party rallies around a leader who they will elect as Prime Minister if they return to power in the next election, so the Democrats had no bench when he left office.

“One of the problems with the American political system is that, although we have political parties, we don’t have a parliamentary system. So basically … I leave office and there’s no obvious person who’s now the shadow prime minister,” Obama added.

But this was a mess of Obama’s own making.

Obama purposefully chose Joe Biden as his Vice President, figuring that Biden, who was 66 back in 2008 and had run two failed Presidential campaigns, was through running for office and could be counted on to look out for Obama’s political interests as opposed to his own.

Obama then handpicked Hillary Clinton as his chosen successor in 2016, a disastrous decision, as Hillary was the most divisive and unpopular selection possible.

Back in 2008, Obama was heralded as the dominant figure of American politics.

17 years later, Trump ended up defining American politics for a generation and Obama fell back into the pack of failed, forgettable Presidents.
