Woke isn’t dead in corporate America.
Woke is trying to make a comeback.
And now, Hilton Hotels picked one fight with Trump that quickly went bad.
As Conservative Reboot reports:
The Trump administration didn’t waste any time trying to hold Somali fraudsters in Minnesota accountable after journalist Nick Shirley’s bombshell video exposing day care center operators scamming taxpayers out of at least $110,000,000.
Trump launched one of the largest ICE operations in history by deploying 2,000 agents to Minneapolis to conduct deportation raids and arrests.
Then something shocking happened.
Homeland Security’s X account revealed that the Hilton in Minneapolis canceled all hotel reservations for law enforcement personnel.
“NO ROOM AT THE INN!@HiltonHotels has launched a coordinated campaign in Minneapolis to REFUSE service to DHS law enforcement.
When officers attempted to book rooms using official government emails and rates, Hilton Hotels maliciously CANCELLED their reservations.
This is UNACCEPTABLE. Why is Hilton Hotels siding with murderers and rapists to deliberately undermine and impede DHS law enforcement from their mission to enforce our nation’s immigration laws?” Homeland Security’s post read.
The hotel even put in writing in the cancellation email that it canceled all the reservations specifically because Homeland Security dispatched agents to Minneapolis to conduct immigration enforcement.
Hilton’s corporate headquarters released a statement claiming that the hotel chain doesn’t discriminate, cooperates with law enforcement, and that this Hilton was independently owned.
Hilton hotels serve as welcoming places for all. This hotel is independently owned and operated, and the actions referenced are not reflective of Hilton values. We are investigating this matter with this individual hotel, and can confirm that Hilton works with governments, law enforcement, and community leaders around the world to ensure our properties are open and inviting to everyone,” the Hilton statement read.
Journalist Nick Sortor exposed this act of corporate damage control as a sham.
Sortor said he visited the Hilton in question, and owner Everpeak Hospitality maintained the ban on Homeland Security.
Shortly after Sortor published this video, Hilton released a new statement announcing that it had severed ties with the hotel in question.
