During the 2024 election, President Trump always boasted that his pollsters had the real numbers.
If that’s the case now, Republicans are in a bad way.
And Trump’s top pollster couldn’t contain this awful secret.
As Great American Digest reports:
Tony Fabrizio served as the Trump campaign’s pollster.
Fabrizio provided real numbers that showed Trump winning while fake news media pollsters pumped out slop showing a Democrat blowout.
A new polling memo from Fabrizio’s firm, based on a national poll of 1,000 voters, contained ominous signs for Republicans heading into the midterms.
Fabrizio’s poll found Democrats holding a commanding lead over Republicans.
“The national general Congressional ballot currently favors Democrats by a seven-point margin,” the memo read.
Republicans losing the national popular vote by seven points next year would see a blue wave wash across America, where Democrats won a landslide majority in the House and seized control of the Senate.
As Senate Majority Leader, Chuck Schumer could block all Trump nominees, including Supreme Court picks, and a Speaker Hakeem Jeffries would impeach President Trump.
Fabrizio’s poll found Americans were recoiling against unchecked Artificial Intelligence (AI) like ChatGPT, Grok, and Google Gemini.
Parents worried AI would corrupt children.
Fabrizio argued Republicans could seize the populist mantle by advocating for national restrictions on AI for minors.
“Republicans have a choice: they can take advantage of a strong desire among the electorate for the federal government to protect kids and empower parents from AI harms and gain needed electoral support, or they can take the minority view arguing for state-by-state regulations,” the memo continued.
Doing so, Fabrizio claimed, would reverse the GOP’s 2026 fortunes.
“There is huge electoral upside to taking action, while standing in the way of national standards to protect kids and empower parents opens Republicans up to significant electoral damage,” the memo went on to say.
Fabrizio argued Republicans could embrace “reasonable steps to reduce risk to minors, including risks of cyberbullying, mental health issues, sexual exploitation”, as well as drugs and suicide to craft a winning political message.
Fabrizio detailed his poll’s findings showing that if the GOP campaigned on regulations for AI, the polls would swing 20 points in their favor.
“By supporting the policies discussed above to protect kids and empower parents, Republicans have an opportunity to lift their ballot support significantly, turning a 7-point deficit into a 13- point advantage, a net 20-point gain,” the memo stated.
AI is also an affordability issue.
Energy prices shot up 6 percent in 2024 due to the amount of power consumed by AI data centers.
CNBC reported the states with the three highest concentrations of data centers saw energy price increases of “13% in Virginia, 16% in Illinois, and 12% in Ohio.”
Midterms are typically difficult for the party in power.
Trump’s top pollster painted a grim picture of the 2026 outlook as 2025 comes to a close.
But Trump’s pollster also drew a road map to swing the voters to the GOP’s favor by addressing AI’s effect on society and energy prices.
