Trump Announces Ceasefire With Iran

President Trump keeps surprising enemies and allies alike.

Trump scored another victory.

And Trump did the impossible and just announced something the world didn’t see coming.

As American Patriot Daily reports:

Trump threw down the gauntlet to Iran, warning that if it didn’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz by his 8 PM deadline, then a “whole civilization will die.

Trump threw down the gauntlet to Iran, warning that if it didn’t reopen the Strait of Hormuz by his 8 PM deadline, then a “whole civilization will die.

Iran’s choking off of oil flow through the Strait of Hormuz threatened to plunge the global economy into a depression.

Trump’s apocalyptic language left some worried that nuclear war was in the offing.

But just hours before the deadline, and Trump promising to unleash the American military in an attack like no one had ever seen before, a diplomatic breakthrough occurred.

President Trump announced on Truth Social that the United States and Iran worked through Pakistan to reach a two-week ceasefire agreement where Iran would open the Strait of Hormuz, and Trump would halt the bombing campaign.

“Based on conversations with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and Field Marshal Asim Munir, of Pakistan, and wherein they requested that I hold off the destructive force being sent tonight to Iran, and subject to the Islamic Republic of Iran agreeing to the COMPLETE, IMMEDIATE, and SAFE OPENING of the Strait of Hormuz, I agree to suspend the bombing and attack of Iran for a period of two weeks,” Trump wrote.

Trump stated that he was willing to agree to this ceasefire as America had achieved all of its military objectives.

“This will be a double-sided CEASEFIRE! The reason for doing so is that we have already met and exceeded all Military objectives, and are very far along with a definitive Agreement concerning long-term peace with Iran, and PEACE in the Middle East,” Trump added.

Trump explained that Iran submitted a 10-point proposal that would serve as the negotiating basis for a deal to end the war permanently.

“We received a 10-point proposal from Iran, and believe it is a workable basis on which to negotiate. Almost all of the various points of past contention have been agreed to between the United States and Iran. Still, a two-week period will allow the Agreement to be finalized and consummated,” Trump continued.

“On behalf of the United States of America, as President, and also representing the Countries of the Middle East, it is an Honor to have this long-term problem close to resolution,” Trump concluded.
