Tomi Lahren Says Trump Should Invoke the Insurrection Act to Stop Anti-ICE Rioters

President Trump faced a domestic political crisis.

Trump was running out of options.

And one of the top stars on Fox News gave Trump this shocking piece of advice.

As American Media Watchdog reports:

Democrats are trying to recreate the George Floyd insurrection in the hopes of scaring voters into installing them into power this November.

Ground Zero is once again Minneapolis, where elected Democrats Governor Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey led a community against ICE operations to arrest criminal illegal aliens.

The campaign to incite hatred against ICE culminated with agents fatally shooting one agitator who tried to run over an agent with her car and agents killing a militant who vilently reissted arrested while armed with a handgun and multiple magazines.

Democrats immediately took to the streets to sow even more chaos.

Like in 2020, violent leftists are seizing control of Minneapolis streets with the blessing of Frey and Walz.

When Democrats burned Minneapolis and other cities to the ground in 2020, President Trump didn’t invoke the Insurrection Act, which allows the President to deploy troops when violence and mayhem overwhelm local law enforcement.

Fox News commentator Tomi Lahren called on President Trump to avoid a repeat of 2020 and nip this rebellion in the bud by invoking the Insurrection Act.

Lahren said part of the thought Minneapolis deserved to rot under the weight of criminal illegal aliens and Somali fraudsters.

“But them the other part of me, “Lahren went on to say, “ is like ‘No, you need to make sure we have order and restore order in this country.’”

â€œThis is not 2020, and we need to reset that precedent and President Trump —  hopefully, if things get bad tonight — will consider the Insurrection Act,” Lahren added.

In a previous interview with NewsNation, Trump said he wasn’t ready to invoke the Insurrection because of the violence in Minneapolis, but that he could change his mind.

“I don’t think it is yet. It might be at some point,” Trump told host Katie Pavlech.

Sensing he had to pre-empt the left’s lies that he was imposing a dictatorship bydeploying the military to a U.S. city, Trump brought up the fact that the Insurrection Act is a common tool wielded by past Presidents.

“has been used by over 40% of the presidents during their term,” Trump stated.
