Steve Bannon Says Trump Should Have Stuck By Matt Gaetz

Steve Bannon is one of Donald Trump’s biggest supporters and MAGA strategists.

Bannon noticed something was off.

And Steve Bannon told Donald Trump he made one awful mistake.

The swamp is scheming to pick off Donald Trump’s MAGA nominees one by one.

With each nominee the Senate RINOs defeat, the more momentum they build in sabotaging candidates who will help Trump drain the swamp, put a stop to the weaponization of the FBI, and end Putin’s war in Ukraine.

The first domino to fall was Trump pulling the plug on Matt Gaetz’s nomination to serve as Attorney General.

Swamp RINOs like Mitch McConnell refused to support Gaetz because Gaetz would  have stopped all January 6 prosecutions, help Trump end FISA’s illegal domestic spying, and serve as a critical ally in the fight to negotiate a peace deal in Ukraine.

Now RINOs like Iowa’s Joni Ernst feel emboldened to tear down Pete Hegseth, Trump’s nominee to run the Defense Department.

If Hegseth falls, McConnell, Ernst, and the other RINOs will then set up the traps for Tulsi Gabbard and Robert F. Kennedy.

Steve Bannon said on his War Room show that Trump should have kept Gaetz’s nomination active so Gaetz could serve as a heat shield.

“We saw this in the first week with Matt Gaetz. I wish and I recommend it. Matt Gaetz stick the whole way. Why? Because of Matt Gaetz had still been in there and going through up to Christmas,” Bannon began.

Bannon explained that Gaetz would have acted like a giant magnet for the media and RINOs — which would have allowed Hegseth, Gabbard, and Kennedy to escape fire from the swamp and allied press outlets.

“He’d be drawing so much fire because they would be freaking out he’d be attorney general. He’d be drawn so much fire you wouldn’t even hear Pete Hegseth’s name. Kash would be gliding into the here,” Bannon continued.

Bannon said Trump could have taken advantage of how lazy the press is by ‘flooding the zone’ with all his MAGA nominees at once – which would force the press to pick one, which would have been Gaetz.

“The media, and this is why the concept of contracts always flood the zone, there’s only so much they can handle. First of all, they’re not particularly bright. They’re not particularly hardworking. So you can overwhelm the system quite easily,” Bannon added.

Bannon said some in the audience thought that wasn’t fair to Gaetz, but Bannon reasoned that the swamp didn’t fight fair, so Trump should do what he has to do in order to ensure victory with his confirmations since the lesson from his first term was “personnel is policy.”

“People say, Bannon, that’s so terrible. Well, hey, that’s just it’s information warfare. They’re doing it all the time, nonstop, relentless. Look at this propaganda they’re putting up on on TV. And he got to fight back.”
