Donald Trump barely had time to process the second assassination attempt against him.
Then he had to consider a frightening reality.

Martin County sheriffs’ officers took a suspect into custody for allegedly trying to assassinate Donald Trump.
The gunman set up shop on the fifth hole of Trump’s golf course where he allegedly hoped to murder Trump.
The assassin donated 19 times to Democrats, displayed a Kamala Harris bumper sticker on his vehicle, and repeated Kamala Harris’ falsehood that “democracy is on the line” in this election.
As soon as law enforcement took the suspect into custody, Americans had a number of questions about this assassination attempt.
One of those asking the questions was Martin County Sheriff William Snyder.
Snyder spoke to the press following the arrest and floated a number of frightening questions about how this assassin got so close to Donald Trump.
In his press conference, Snyder noted that the potential assassin had no connection to the area.
Snyder said investigators needed to figure out how an assassin who lived in Hawaii made his way to Trump’s golf course with a rifle.
“To my knowledge he does not have any ties to Martin County. I think what we’re finding out is he is not from this area, which raises a bigger question. How does a guy from not here get all the way to Trump International, realize that the president, former president of the United States, is golfing, and is able to get a rifle in that vicinity?” Snyder stated.
Trump’s round of golf wasn’t previously scheduled, and it was a last-minute deal.
Those facts led to Snyder’s next question which was asking if this assassin was part of a larger conspiracy and had help planning this attempt on Donald Trump’s life.
“I think that’s the question the FBI and Secret Service are laser-focused on today. Is this guy part of a conspiracy, or is he a lone gunman? If he is a lone gunman, President Trump is that much safer because we have him. But if he is part of a conspiracy, this whole thing really takes on a very ominous tone,” Snyder added.
These are questions Americans want answered.
