Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth confronted the unthinkable.
Hegseth knew there was only one option.
And Pete Hegseth gave the one order he never thought he would have to
As Great American Digest reports:
A 22-year-old named Tyler Robinson shot and killed Charlie Kirk during an event at Utah Valley University.
Urah Governor Spencer Cox revealed Robinson was steeped in “leftist ideology.”
Police recovered shell casings at the scene engraved with the word “fascist” as well as lyrics from anti-capitalist left-wing resistance anthems.
But yet another act of left-wing domestic terrorism was just the tip of the iceberg,
An even bigger story was the left reveling in Kirk’s murder.
Teachers, lawyers, health care workers, and sports team executives participated in a sickening celebration of killing a man because of what he believed in.
Hate-filled liberals even infiltrated the U.S. military.
Department of War spokesman Sean Parnell warned there would be “zero tolerance” for any uniformed personnel rejoicing in Kirk’s assassination.
“It is unacceptable for military personnel and Department of War civilians to celebrate or mock the assassination of a fellow American. The Department of War has zero tolerance for it,” Parnell wrote on X.
And just to hammer the point home, Secretary of War Pete Hegseth said the department was monitoring social media and would hold any member of the armed services accountable if they reacted with glee to the left murdering political foes.
“We are tracking all these very closely — and will address, immediately. Completely unacceptable,” Hegseth posted on social media.
It didn’t take long for someone to find out Hegseth wasn’t joking.
Under Secretary of the Air Force Matthew Lohmeier wrote on X that it was brought to his attention that a service member violated Hegseht’s directive an act that Lohmeier described as a violation of the Uniformed Code of Military Justice for attacking the Commander-in-Chief and violating his oath to defend the Constitution.
“This morning, it was brought to my attention what appears to me to be explicit (repeated) violations of the oath to defend the constitution coming from a uniformed service member, the public criticism of our commander-in-chief, and overt partisan behavior; there will be swift accountability. What I have seen is, at a minimum, a violation of Article 134 of the UCMJ. Of course, the veracity of the accounts and this conduct must be confirmed,” Lohmeier wrote.
Lohmeier was responding to a post on X where a user alerted him to Senior Master Sergeant Adam Antonioli attacking Americans mourning Kirk’s assassination as “pathetic” and posting a picture of an upside down United States flag.
Lohmeier promised swift action and delivered posting on social media that military leaders read Antonioli his rights and launched an investigation into Antonioli’s entire chain of command for allowing this insubordination.
“I’ve asked our senior military leaders to read the member his rights, and place him and his entire chain of command under investigation. Zero tolerance for this. Men and women who are guilty of this kind of behavior will not serve in uniform,” Lohmeier added.
Elon Musk said that “the left is the party of murder and celebrating murder.”
Not only did a leftwing assassin gun down Charlie Kirk, but Americans who work in high-trust occupations like airline pilots, doctors, teachers, and members of the military partied over the news of Kirk’s assassination.
Society depends on individuals believing their safety on the operating table, in the air, at school, or from foreign threats doesn’t depend on their political affiliation.
But the left’s belief that politics is an all-consuming activity now threatens that social compact.
