Matt Gaetz Says Alexandria Ocasio-cortez Changed After January

Former Congressman Matt Gaetz served in the House with Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

But Gaetz is not troubled by what he sees.

And Matt Gaetz revealed an ugly secret about Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez.

As Swamp Digest reports:

Former Florida Congressman Matt Gaetz served with Ocasio-Cortez and was friendly with her when the two were in Congress.

In a newsy interview with Tucker Carlson, Gaetz revealed that Ocasio-Cortez really wasn’ the anti-establishment outsider she liked to portray herself as.

Instead, Ocasio-Cortez was just another socialist serving the swamp.

Gaetz told Carlson that Ocasio-Cortez complimented Republicans for ousting RINO Speaker of the House Kevin McCarthy and admitted Democrats didn’t have the “guts” to pull a similar move against Nacy Pelosi.

“AOC is a very different person today than when she got to Congress,” Gaetz stated. “When we were ousting McCarthy, like, she came up to me and was like, ‘You know, I really respect this because I’ll be honest. We don’t have the guts to do this on our side.’”

Ocasio-Cortez campaigned for Congress in 2018 on a pledge not to support Pelosi for Speaker of the House.

But when the moment of truth came, Ocasio-Cortez folded and cut a deal with Pelosi.

Ocasio-Cortez is likely to run for President in 2028, where she casts herself as an outsider running to disrupt the status quo.

Gaetz pre-emptively exposed that as a lie.

Carlson then prompted Gaetz to reveal another way Ocasio-Cortez was a phony.

“What’s she like?” Carlson asked.

Gaetz then went on to detail how Ocasio-Cortez seized on the January 6 hoax to demonize Republicans.

“Before January 6th, she was incredibly chummy with Republicans in Congress, would regularly come over to our side, sit down hang out talk about her day.

but she, after January 6th, treated us all like we had horns or something,” Gaetz stated.

Ocasio-Cortez falsely claimed in a video posted to Instagram that she had a “very close encounter” on January 6 while she was hiding in her office and that she thought she “was going to die” when she heard someone banging on her office door shouting, “Where is she?”

“I did not know if I was going to make it to the end of that day alive, and not just in a general sense but also in a very, very specific sense,” Ocasio-Cortez added and said the experience was “traumatizing.”

Ocasio-Cortez then went on to claim her life was in danger.

“We were very lucky that things happened within certain minutes that allowed members to escape the House floor unharmed,” Ocasio-Cortez continued. “Many of us merely narrowly escaped death.”

ON January 6, the only people who died were Trump supporters killed by police.

Ocasio-Cortez was never near a Trump supporter.

Ocasio-Cortez’s office, where she claimed she had a “very close encounter,” was in an entirely different building that Trump supporters never entered.

The Cannon Building is located across the street from the Capitol.

And it was a police officer knocking on her office door, asking, “Where is she?”
